I really wish that both Lowry and Derozan get bought out next year and we just get them back with the squad.
Cool they finally found an upgrade, who totally wasn't here sitting on the bench all season while FVV plays 40+ minutes.
Dowtin fits in perfectly behind Scottie. Scottie should be the starting point guard now
I would like to see more ball-handling opportunities from Dowtin. He needs to get a consistent jumper, but he's shown he's a good finisher and makes good passes. Definitely needs more minutes. At this point, we should prioritize more minutes from the bench so that our starters get around 30 minutes instead of 35+ minutes.

@benrogers fred vanvleets wife is pregnant and i believe fred vanvleet went back to chicago to be there for the birth of his child. you know what happened in playoffs when freds kids was born. so expect a relaxed focussed fred when he gets back.

Delano Banton averages 4 assists and 3 turnovers in the g league and people want him to be our starting PG. I think it’s pretty obvious Dowtin is the better PG option. But tbh they need to be looking for better options next season. 🤦🏾♂️

We do not need Lowry at all …we are tryna get rid of vanfleet ..we need size at the 1 with Nurse weird defensive schemes.

It's sad to think that we had to wait for the last 20 games of the season for Nick Nurse to use the end of his bench, to see if guys like Dowtin should be signed to a full contract. He's made the same mistake all year long. They recently signed Wieskamp to a 2 year contract after 2- 10 day trials. He hasn't seen the floor since. Hard to score a 3 from the end of the bench. Imagine where the Raptors would be right now if Nurse had played everybody on the bench over the entire year. He uses the excuse of inconsistency for not playing them regularly. Hard to be consistent with totally inconsistent minutes. For him to make the comments he made about an upgrade after 20 minutes of Dowtin is insulting. They'd ALL be an upgrade with regular playing time. He's done a lousy job of developing their younger talent, and fallen into the same trap as the last few years when it comes to overplaying his starters. Have their minutes really changed much, despite the comments about playing them less?
Let's let FVV and GTJ go then give huge contracts to JV and Jakob.

The reason for Why Fred missed the game his wife is due to having the baby
Now they just need to upgrade Nick Nurse and the sky may be the limit. I won't rattle on this time why he is a bust, but among other things fourth quarter comebacks by the other team is definitely on the coach.
Please let this be the end of Flynn in a Raptors uniform. I wish him all the best at his next stop. The FVV hate however has got to stop. That said, this is unfortunate timing to be missing Fred from the lineup. We are luck his absence did not result in a loss yesterday and every game right now is uber important.
Flynn should play in China. He'd have a great career. (not kidding at all… he's make a lot of money too.)

Was at the game yesterday and loved what dowtin brought to the court. I am a big malachi hater tho so im biased but i thought he brought great energy and made good desicions for a second year player
Even though fred has become insufferable at times let the team run as it is til next year they've been playing unbelievable since poetl could sneak a 6th seed no problem
I know we won against the pels but damn siakam is a ball hog especially down the stretch with 5 mins left…there was a play where siakam had the ball the top left of the arc and gtj was literally wide open for a 3 on the opposite side and siakam looked him off and decided to post up with 2 defenders and ended up taking a poor shot…also took 3 other ill adviced shots down the stretch trying to play hero ball…smh

Flynn's shot doesn't fall, and Banton wasn't aggressive enough but should have been given more time. Ben wins Dowtin in.
Stop the lying, Ben. Malachi Flynn hasn't been the primary back up pg this season. Banton started out the season as the back up pg then the Raptors just didn't use a pg in their rotation behind FVV. Eventually, Malachi Flynn got some back up pg minutes but his inclusion in the rotation has been intermitted at best. NN stays dogging Malachi Flynn out, not building him up. As soon as Dowtin has a bad game or two he will be stuck on the bench again. FVV seems like he has one foot out of the door already coming back from the All Star break missing games for personal reasons- really?
To think the raps could have had pg brodie and kawhi all on one team but they didn't want to give up fvv and siakim and they both suck now anyway.. fvv only wants super star money even though he sucks lol.. time to rebuild raptors blow up the roster.. should have kept Lowry and mentor Flynn and traded both siakim and fvv get something better in return
