The players have to understand that the whole league, most of the sports pundits and a lot of the fans are all waiting for you to fail. I believe that the Nets, as a team, are still adjusting. Give Coach Vaughn credit, he did an impressive job of holding off to their goals regardless if they win or lose. I may say, they can go deep into the playoffs this year and be a strong contender for the years to come.
Vaughn handled that press conference like a professional. Well done. He extended understanding to his team, while making clear that that performance would not do.
Big mistake by Vaughn in starting the new guys. Should have let them earn their spot!!. Its demoralizing to the players that have been there before. Team chemistry destroyed because no more meritocracy.
