It likely forces Ryan to accelerate plans to move to some streaming or other service platform. Fans have been complaining about our rights deals for years. Now is when the rubber meets the road to determine if that actually ends up being better for fans or not.
I doubt the Jazz do something solo, so they’ll probably have to connect with a larger streaming platform or see if they could pool enough other local assets together into a shared platform.
I think the only guarantee is that Ryan and Co. will take a decent revenue hit as a result. My only hope is that it isn’t enough of a dent to prevent them from investing in the team/being willing to go into the luxary tax when the right window opens up for a championship run.

End the local blackouts and let fans either pay per game or buy the season regardless of where they live. I would happily pay $5 per game or a few hundred per year to have access to all the games.
