  1. Rockets are winning too much, worried about draft odds 😕

  2. This rockets community is so toxic that a win after a 11 losing streak is bad 😭. I don’t get it. Historically, since the draft odds have changed, the worst team in the league never wins the lottery… so being 2nd-3rd worse is best.

  3. If we get Wemby and Harden, then our bench would be KPJ, TYTy, Tari, Sengun and Garuba. Looks good to me

  4. Is this really how people who follow the team look at the game 😂😂 dark days for NBA fandom

  5. We better get use too not seeing Tyty and Nix cause if we Draft Amen Scoot or Harden comes back no way Tyty and Nix play regular minutes

  6. It really does not matter because unless a better coach is hired you can get the first pick and nothing different will happen . Some one who can develop and hold them accountable . A system not this AAU action they we are doing.

  7. I will always like winning. Draft picks are always a toss up no matter how much hype a player gets. Let them lose because the other team is better. Not because we wanted to lose.

  8. If we get 6/7 pick, we should be as hard in them as we are on the Texans for losing the number 1 pick

  9. Are we really crying about wins already, after crying for weeks about the team losing?? Yall gotta enjoy something

  10. Guarantee if we lost these 2 games, you would be more upset. Let the team grow & get some positive culture going

  11. Rockets have enough draft capital to move up two spots from 7 to 5 if needed without losing too much. I’d much rather them win games than worry about what ifs

  12. As a long-time listener, this was by far my least favorite episode. The long discussion of tanking was overblown. Having the floor in the draft go from #5 to #7 doesn't seem franchise-altering. I'd rather have the #5 pick, of course, but there will be plenty of high-end talent left at #7 and it will still be an excellent trade chip if the Rockets go that direction. Yes, the Spurs sat a lot of guys, but to say that the Spurs fielded a "G-League" team is similarly overblown. In both games, the Rockets fielded the younger team and the Spurs had won their previous two games in convincing fashion. Every positive became a negative–the Rockets ran well against SA, so that becomes an opportunity to criticize them for not running earlier in the season; Garuba had a nice game so that was an opportunity to criticize Silas for not playing him more; Green looked great so let's spend a minute or two criticizing his layup form. I suspect that if the Rockets did tank and lose one or two of the games, it would have been an opportunity to criticize Silas ("he can't even beat the Spurs!")and indulge in a healthy dose of "bad habits" discourse. In an otherwise dreary season, can we at least acknowledge two wins and small signs of progress? There will be plenty of opportunity for pessimism down the road.

  13. These two wins proved one thing- Silas has been trying to win games this whole season, but he just couldn’t. This is really really sad.

  14. I'M BURNING ON THIS…
    *TeamRockets gets their wish!
    *Simply, ignoring the PROCESS.
*Why, sacrifice a promising FUTURE, (Victor or Scoot) for a few extra win NOW games??
*Note: A rebuild is about the future, (creating a sustainable WINNER).

  15. I don't think we need to worry about the Rockets "winning" too many of these final ~20 games. Let's be real. It's nice to see what these guys can look like when they're moving the ball, cutting well, and utilizing the right guys. I don't care that it was against G-leaguers. They were shooting 55+% from the field in both games. They played semi-competent defense.

Dropping to possibly the 6th or 7th pick instead of the worst case being 5 is moot, for me. After those top 2 guys it's all just a bunch of musical chairs with a bunch of prospects no one really knows will be surefire hits or not. So basically finishing outside of the top 2 IS the loss.

  16. If we don't get top 2, this will be the hope moving forward…so at least we have some shred of hope, this was solid all around team win.

  17. Don’t underestimate this Rockets team’s ability to try hard and still lose every single game for the rest of this season.

  18. If we don’t get the first pick, I don’t care where we fall in the draft. It’s Victor or nothing😂

  19. I'm all for wins or competitive play at least. I feel rockets have more than enough young talent to be worried about a top 2 pick. Thus yr was supposed to be building chemistry & further developing players so going into next season who can attract FAs & make some trades for some competent vets to make a playoff push potentially.

  20. Being the worse teams for 2 seasons has not got us a single 1st pick..so let’s not get obsessed with being the worse for a 3rd str8 year

  21. Thanks Jackson. I know it was hard to say the truth. Stone should have fired Silas a while ago. These 2 wins might not have mattered at all. If anything, they could have hurt the future of the team for multiple years.
