People in media don’t want to say it, but I’m going to. The Team is missing their former defensive minded coach name Ime Udoka, who is sitting on the bench as we speak because of an affair with a staffer. All I know is the players feared Udoka because he will get in their faces on the sidelines to make them to take pride in playing great defense every game. Udoka was coaching the players hard. I don’t see a defensive identity under Joe Mazzulla and they won’t go far in the playoffs with a bad defense. I agree with KP, Joe Mazzulla comes across as being soft on the players especially on the defensive side of the ball. If Joe doesn’t get this team back to at least an NBA Finals this year then he should be on the hot seat. The Celtics are one of the top 5 teams in the league this year.

Mazzula needs to devote practices to defense and make the team work so they don't have to continue that. Don't blame Smart, in the NBA you need team defense and hustle back after every possession. I don't see that kind of hustle.

There’s nothing wrong with the Celtics. This is over exaggerating, they were up by 25 against the Cavaliers, and still hung onto win. The fact they could get up 25 against that team tells you they’re dangerous. They’ll be ok.
Why are we having this take? They played with one of the top 5-7 best players of the NBA and a very important starter and an important starter. So this last game should have one, but based one what I already said it was expected that they would/could lose. Every team has had his problems this year with enjuries and loosing streaks.

Reading these comments, its absolutely baffling how some people overreact. If you think about it with the game with the Nets, say 1 more 3 made by the celtics and a rebound that bounces their way and/or 1 less 3 made by Quickly and the C's could be victorious. Or like, this game… 1 made free throw by Grant and the C's would win. The fact that these fans have no common sense and just look to blame something like Mazzula when things go wrong.
