This shouldn’t be surprising. Majority of Pascal’s assists come off making the correct reads on doubles so he usually finds a wide-open player for 3.
40% is great but makes you wonder why we’re a poor 3 point shooting team.

After this I dont want to hear that pascal isn’t good as a playmaker or that he is selfish anymore.

We shouldn’t even be running a heliocentric offense around Pascal or Fred to begin with. When a big chunk of your offense is predicated on creation off of one player and the catch and shoot ability of players out of the space created by said player, you set yourself up to be predictable and the ceiling of your team becomes highly dependent on variance.
That kind of offense has its limitations even with some of the best players of all time (Lebron, Luka, Harden, etc.). Lebron understood this early which is why he paired with Wade, then Irving, then AD.
It’s an offense when perfected can get you a lot of regular season wins but not championships.

How?
OG trade?
Edit: some real dumb people in this subreddit. Getting downvoted just for asking how? If you’re gonna criticize at least tell me your solution lmao. And in case you people are so brain-dead to think I am saying they need to trade OG, I’m not. Literally, I am just asking how the OP proposes this team get shooters in the off-season.

easier said then done. Raps will have to over pay to get and decent FA to come here

Does this not mean we have good shooters off Pascal passes? OP needs to go back to school.

99% of this forum just wants to run it back with Barnes as SG when Gary leaves lol

Masai gonna trade for Doug McDermott for Raps 2023 1st round pick. RC Buford already waiting for Masai’s call

Step 1. Retain everybody.
Step 2. Keep Pascal, Fred and OG’s average minutes below 36.
Step 3. Find a vet that can shoot and stay in Nick’s rotation. OPJ, Barton, Yuta, Brogdon whatever – just find someone that sticks.
Step 4. Year 3 Scottie.

We desperately need players that can hit above the break threes and come off screens / DHO’s fast as fuck boi

I’ve been saying this all year, surround Siakam with shooters and he’s a walking triple double.

Surprised james Harden and luka are up here since people always say that their teammates can never get in rhythm and they make their teammates worse

Really wish the front office pushed harder for Dame after Tampa. Would be a perfect fit with the raptors

What I get from this is: run the offence through Pascal.
I don’t disagree with you but isn’t this chart showing that the team can shoot off Pascal’s passes but just has a lower volume compared to other stars? The team is at the top in 3P% but are taking 1.8 attempts less.

Seems like this stat shows our shooters are already converting at a good rate.
