Honestly there’s options. I’m not AK but if I were, my top priority would be to trade DeMar and his expiring contract for some shooting. Let Vuc walk or do a sign and trade and bring in a more defensive big man. Let Ayo walk. Kick the tires on extending Coby. And I’ve never been one of those “bring rose back” people but this is when it makes sense. If Zo isn’t ready by camp 2023 you gotta move on. So worst case scenario D Rose could be the starting PG. Best case is Zo is healthy and D Rose takes the back up role. This is all Jmo of course. I’m sure AK will do more along the lines of re-signing Vuc and doing nothing to improve the PG position . And he will keep a clearly declining DeMar and continue to force this roster when it’s just not there.
