Looks like the Nets knew something about KD's durability. Nets got the better deal in this trade. Older players get injured. KD hurt his knee earlier in the season by another seemingly simple activity. Too bad, KD is one of the greatest players of all time.

KD sprained his ankle cause he slipped, not because of the height of the shoe. The height of the shoe has nothing to do with ankle sprains. If the shoe is properly securing your heel, you’re as safe as can be. Steph overcame his ankle issue by correcting his clumsy footwork. His shoes have also been low tops for the past 4 or 5 years now.
