Kyrie isn't bad defensively and Luka is underrated in the leaps he has made defensively. Towards the top of the League in steals. It's our Wings. Bullock is literally giving us nothing right now. Not sure where his defense went in the Offseason but he def didn't bring it back with him from lost his shot too on Vacation. Kleber will help when he gets back to 100% because of his Defensive Versatility, but we have no size for wing defenders. Our best defensive player is Josh Green and he has been great for us. And Kidd Giving Powell 30+ mins a night is not it. I figured after seeing he couldn't do anything in the Postseason amd essentially benching him was proof of that. Guess he got Amnesia or something. And IDGAF what his issue is with C Wood but he better get over it. He has cost us quiet a few games by not having Wood in to close games out. How are you not going to have your 3rd best scorer in the game in crunch time when you need buckets. His offensive punch way outweighs his defensive liability. He's not bad as a defender, He's Average but I will def take his shot blocking capabilities and ability to alter shots in the paint over Powells Hustle any day of the week when your closing a game out and trying to hold a lead. Kidds rotations this year have been atrocious not sure what changed between last year and this year even pre trade they were trash. We def need to go hit the buyout market and go after Noel or Ibaka, or I personally want us to go get Whiteside to help with our interior D and Rim protection/rebounding. Or Hell let's at least kick the tires on Dwight Howard. Not worse than anything else we are putting on the floor at our 5 on a nightly basis.
Kyrie will not stay in Dallas. Heâll finish off this season and move quickly to another team. Iâm not sure which one, but I would be surprised if he stays in Dallas as second fiddle to Luka. Obviously, this is just my opinion and weâll all know soon how it turns out.
Horrible combination because of the simple fact that Luka and Kyrie are both point guards… they both need to handle the ball to be effective. Teams keep making these wild moves with no regard for team composition, which is far more important than individual talent. Position-less basketball is a myth… the only thing that's changed is most players have (more) range.
Mavs should fire the GM – he put this team together – they are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA and their opponents hit 53 percent of their field goal attempts against them — sure it was fun to see Luka and kyrie score 82 points last night but they cannot sustain that game after game – kyrie will leave at seasons end, they are not winning a ring, they are not winning the Western Conference this season – this is a team without a solid plan and culture in place. Poorly managed team with a questionable future.

I wouldn't be surprised if Luka signs off from Mavs. Kyrie is not interested in stay with Dallas … This could made the Luka left because Kyrie and Kyrie left for LA Lakers
In all honesty the Mavs. need to look at their front court. If the front court can tighten up on D, and get a few more boards then you have a whole different senerio. My opinion.
