Also I hate when people bring up “wait till he plays jokic or embiid he’s gonna get bullied” okay? But like realistically who can guard either one of them??? That’s why they’ve been 1 and 2 in mvp race for every season in the last 4-5 years.

Beating the Jazz yesterday makes it harder for the Spurs to get the worst record considering that the Rockets are basically saying "challenge accepted" in terms of the quest to achieve the NBA's worst record, even ahead of the Spurs.

I listened to the podcast, and it's 100 percent Givony's opinion.
I remember when Durant was in the draft. Everyone said he wasn't strong enough because he couldn't bench his own weight and Greg Oden was the better choice. Wrong! Guys that are that tall can just shoot over you. The job is to put the ball in the basket. He can play C on defense against teams with bigs that aren't overpowering like Embid and play the 4 on offense. You take Wemby. It's a no brainer.
Wemby strikes me as the kind of player that would pull a John Elway, and straight up refuse to play for the organization that drafted him, if he doesn’t get a desirable result.
The other three organizations are dumpster fires too! Houston, new clueless ownership. Charlotte, why does Jordan own a team? He clearly seems disinterested most of the time. Detroit, better, but when was last time they were remotely relevant?

I can't see a scenario where the team that wins the lottery would trade Victor … except if he threatens not to sign and reenter the draft next year. If he's 100% set on the Spurs, they have the assets to make that trade if they don't win the lottery. Long shot, but possibility is always out there.

He works out with Rudy Gobert. I watched them go at it and of course Gobert is a wylie veteran but the kid can post up. He has a variety of moves in the post which surprised me. Then his defense down low was good enough to hang around but he has a lot to learn still.

Someone needs to step in and fix nba draft. Teams that have been landing top 5 picks in the last 3 years need to get their odds lower for #1 pick. Orlando, Detroit and Houston have all had top 5 picks last 3 years and haven't done jack sh!t. They're hurting their young players career and gambling with the players chances at winning. Basically tanking every year for top 5 pick just to suck more.
