He’s getting a lot more confident from deep, and his shot is speeding up. It’s still not as nice as his middy, but it’s great to see that he’s not afraid to force teams to respect his willingness to shoot it.

Love Markelle and think he can take the next step next year.
His shot release is very low, I’m guessing because of the TOS. But I hope he doesn’t try to change his shooting form again. It’s not perfect, but he experimented so much earlier in his career with his injury that it hindered his development.
He doesn’t need to take a lot of threes, and probably shouldn’t, because with his release point he needs to be pretty open to hit them. I would like to see him keep firing when he’s open, especially in the corner, but I’m not expecting him to become a sniper out there.
