They need to watch 2020 raptors offense, what on earth is this coaching staff doing? Why can't you develop catch and shoot off the bench except for Boucher. How does this bench not have couple of simple plays that lead to catch and shoot. Where are the role players who come in and just hit 3pt from the corner. No human can play 82 games of playoff defense, and this team has now forgotten how to score off the bench. This is on Nick Nurse and his coaching staff. The bench looks totally lost on offense.
Pascal was invisible in the second half. Glad they're giving Scottie time to run the show but it's doesn't look great when Pascal clearly doesn't know how to maintain an impact on the game when he isn't ISO-ing every defender to death. Rebound the ball…play defense, things that kept him on the floor in his early years. He doesn't know how to play off of being second or third fiddle. Unfortunate little stretch for GTJ lately but I can't imagine it's easy being benched regardless of what he says to the media. I've had this sentiment the entire year – I don't think the current roster can work as it is. Everybody is hungry but not everyone can eat.
Time for Masai to trade Siakam and FVV for assets. Time for this team to be rebuild. As long as this team is centred around Siakam and FVV, this team will just be playoff fodder at best
