  1. I feel like this is more of a “we win more when teammates hit the shots they get off of DeRozan passes” than a “DeRozan is a great playmaker and he should play point guard more” because on most nights it feels like DeMar only passes when he’s forced to (especially in the fourth where he’ll take every shot he can even if someone else is hot) or when he’s ice cold (but even then he’ll be more than willing to shoot himself out of it).

I’ve been saying and still think our offensive struggles are two parts: we legit don’t have a real point guard on the roster other than Lonzo and DeMar has an antiquated play style that makes it extremely difficult to run an offense. Last night Zach passed to him for an open three, DeMar hesitated then decided to iso, backed someone down shot over them and missed.

I’d rather have a solid point guard and role player who can hit a three so we can run a modern NBA offense. With that said I have no idea who would even want DeMar DeRozan.

Edit: and I’m not saying he’s not capable of being a good playmaker, he is but he doesn’t look to be like 80% of the time.

Similarly with Zach it seems like he can run the offense at times as a passer but he can’t seem to put the pieces together of when it’s time to score vs when it’s time to facilitate. He does one or the other.

We 10-3 this year when he get 7+. Sometimes he gotta be DeCoy 😂

Wow the bulls win when players play better!

I mean that’s the half of the problem of this Bulls roster, lack of proper playmaker, they’ve had good games every time the ball was moving around. The other half is on mediocre shooters

  5. As a team we have actually been pretty good at sharing the ball lately. A lot of high team assists games. Not quite 40 like Boylen likes but it’s pretty decent.. until the 4th 🤣

That’s 3-2 when simplified. What are you taking about.

A good way to measure playmaking isn’t only assists, but the difference in FG% off of his passes when compared to the overall FG%.

I saw this in clips when he was in San Antonio when he was running pick and rolls with Lamarcus Aldridge, could be effective with Vuc

Dero needs to pass more, i think he knows it too.

There are sometimes we need him to shoot tho, its more about looking for the best opportunities
