The OKC Thunder are looking like a future dynasty. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been an all-star, Josh Giddey is looking like a triple-double machine, and Jalen Williams has been a rookie of the year contender. With Shai, Giddey, and Jdub, the OKC Thunder have arrived and the future of the franchise looks so bright specially with unicron Chet Holmgren not even stepping on the court for the team. The Thunder’s rebuild has been successful because GM Sam Presti has found ways to build a complementary young core. One of the young players the team acquired is big man Jaylin Williams who has stepped up into the rotation following absences from Chet Holmgren and Aleksej Pokusevski. Another one of those additions the team had is sharpshooter Isaiah Joe who’s been one of the best free agent acquisitions in franchise history.
OKC has beat teams like the Golden State Warriors recently and Shai has been continuing to put up elite numbers in his all-star season. The Thunder might miss out on having huge draft odds to land Victor Wembanyama, but the tank is definitely over for this Okc Thunder team. Sam Presti has made trade deadline moves as well, trading Mike Muscala and Darius Bazley. In return, OKC has acquired veteran forward Dario Saric. With OKC’s future looking bright, will they be able to make the playoffs?

You guys think we making the playoffs? 🤔
Really hope they make the playoffs. They obviously won’t make it far or anything, but it’d be nice for experience.
Next gear they make the nba finals like Russ, Harden and KD did. Shai, Williams, Giddy are lowkey similar archetypes to those 3 but Shai is more efficient and less selfish than Russ, Williams plays far better perimeter defense than Harden, and Giddy is a much better distributer than Kd although he has less of a bag.
wait until the clips fall off, the heat keep aging out and our utah/LAC/MIA first round picks coming up are worth their weight in gold… once PHI chokes in the playoffs and harden leaves, we could trade some of these super valuable picks and poku, JRE, mann (and whichever expensive old vet we sign on the market in FA to match salaries) for a disgruntled Embiid and STILL have a mountain of picks moving forward
Isiah Joe and Jaylin Williams have great chemistry. They've played on the same level on the same team since high school.

I keep up with the thunder here and there as a Kings fan, but in a couple years this squad will be unstoppable. SGA, Giddey, Joe, AND Chet??? They are all so young too, easily 12+ years of career ahead of them. Literally the most overpowered team I can think of
scary thing is theyre loading with picks and seeing how theyre just getting better that theyre a place players might actually wouldn't mind playing in. can easily move up in the drafts or trade for say Damian Lillard if becomes avaiable and theres not really a team who can offer better packages. this team will def be good for the next 10
Sam Presti is one of the best gms in the league. Look at all the talent that OKC has drafted.

Most of the big market teams chase superstars and put together dysfunctional rosters. They don't worry as much about drafting or signing smart free agents because they know they can attract and pay the big names. Small market teams are a LOT smarter about who they pick. They don't always hit on their picks but they typically have a pretty good track record. Some of the best small market teams – Bucks, Thunder, current Kings, Spurs 10 years ago – were built on great team chemistry – not a bunch of superstars.

Y’all should’ve drafted Jabari. Literally would’ve filled KD shoes. And y’all already have pservechi (don’t know how to spell his name) who plays about the same as Chet in my opinion. Chet does have that shooters touch but nothing Jabari doesn’t have. Sucks
Plain and simple. They cheat. OKC has cheated not only in the NBA but in college football. They continually PAY high school athletes under the table to come and play for OK SOONERS. That's what they do best. As the board of regents are the same people in the state government who oversee sports, they look the other way, knowing the cheating is going on. The Sooners best hunting ground is Texas. Texas produces the best players in the country but the SOONERS keep raiding Texas with lucrative gifts / money / etc to steal them away from that state. Then, more insults, they give the finger or in UT's case the upside down horn side to all TEXAS citizens. Insults, Lies, deceit, stealing, kickbacks, bribes, they do it all. NOW, they want Wemby to play on that team, so what do they do? They sit, their number 1 pick on the bench all year, as well as their important players, feigning a poor season. They have been picking in top 10 for years and here we go again. Lottery bound and happy. The fat getting fatter and uglier.
