Can KG be a big man/trash talk coach while we’re at it?

Welp they just fucking jinxed us… remember that shit
when we get 3rd pick and draft Brandon Miller he becomes a tremendous fit and instant star with melo and bridges and Mark Williams
jumpmanj2395

Honestly Pierce makes a really good point. Charlotte is the closest to a blank slate of these bottom teams but still has the talent to compete immediately. Obviously Rozier and Hayward are still under contract but it’s different playing next to established vets that just wanna win vs. a ton of lottery picks still fighting for that first big payday. Melo is the perfect guard to set him up and the rest of our young talent is mostly complementary vs. franchise building pieces.
I do think the Spurs also fit this mould but they lack a guard talent on the level of Melo and like Pierce mentions, there’s no telling how long Pop is there to hold that together.

Hear that silver? Time to rig the lottery in our favor for once.

It’d be kinda wild to have the hornets and panthers picking number 1

We all do. But let’s face it, the odds are against us

Off topic but does anyone else hate when people are like “Wemby shouldn’t go to Charlotte because they don’t build around their stars” as if he wouldn’t be an amazing fit with our team?
I feel like people say it because our team has been poorly constructed before, but if Miles wasn’t a domestic abuser, we actually have a pretty promising team this year- Lamelo and Miles and finally solving the center issue with Mark and Nick.
For this reason, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Hornets just signed Miles in the off-season and took whatever negative press they get, since a core of Lamelo/Miles/top pick/Mark is very promising

I’ve accepted 2 scenarios:
1. We won’t get number 1 2. If we do get number 1 and draft him, he will be massive bust whether it’s injury or performance

I agree with KG and Paul.

Definitely not getting Wemby with these guys winning so many games so late in the season.

Me 2.

I really would prefer scoot. Wemby is too tall and can’t last.

This is the kind of thing i dont want to hear because it convinces me of a scenario that in all likelihood will not happen
