[johnschuhmann] Wow. Nick Nurse played his starting lineup for 27 minutes last night, as much time as you’ll ever see from a single lineup in a regulation game. The lineup was a +17 in those 27 minutes: nba.com/stats/lineups/… The Raptors lost by 10.

[[Blake Murphy] League’s most mono-lineup team (Den) plays starting 5 for 36.8% of minutes.
Raptors were 56% last night and over 45% in the 6 games since the starting five were all available.
+10.7 net rating for starters in that stretch.
-15.5 for any other lineup. -18.2 if 2+ starters sit.](https://twitter.com/BlakeMurphyODC/status/1634583120253943809?t=D9Qo4zPOYk7B-7jaGvDG6w&s=19)
We really just can’t get a game where 7-8 players are playing at least OK.
Siakam was terrible last night and Fred was bad. Precious and Gary were absolutely horrendous. We don’t need OG and Scottie to have stellar games if other guys can just put up reasonable games. That seems to be too much to ask right now though
First game I’ve had a chance to watch in a while and man everyone off the bench just looked so bad. Not just skill wise but even their decision making was horrendous
our coaching staff is ass. i expect to see some changes in the offseason.
Maybe try different rotations where more of the starters are on with two at most bench players? Not sure why all of the best players always have to play together. Once you have more bench than starter we’re done.
Our coaching staff has been decimated since 2019, not surprised to hear stuff like this
I think Nurse is in a lose lose situation here. He plays the bench more and people complain that the bench isn’t doing anything and he should bring the starters back in. He plays the starters heavy minutes and people will complain about the bench not being used. I think we just over achieved last season and all the players were playing a lot better than they actually were. This year we’re seeing the team come back down to earth and people are losing their minds because of it. We do have good pieces but siakam and van vleet as the top 2 options isn’t working out. Management needs to make a decision. Nurse is a coach for a team that’s got established players and can run his sets and clearly this team is unable or unwilling to do that. Maybe you gut half of the team in the offseason and hire a development coach to replace nurse or you upgrade siakam and FVV to players who can actually play in nurse’s system
It’s so strange to me. On paper there’s some solid players on the bench but they just can’t put it together. Whole bench needs a facelift.
Keep in mind 3 potential rotation bench players are assigned to the 905 in dowtin koloko and rhj
This is stealth tank moves imo in part
Masai avoiding the executives suspicion even though he had to tell everyone he is trying to get to the play in lol
