This team was a complete and utter failure and I don’t have an issue writing their eulogy this season

At this point we’d be better off not being a top ten seed rather than sticking around because change is needed

    Sad walk out the blender

    But see y’all tomorrow 😈

Shot Discipline. There’s a reason those attempts are open!

First loss I’ve attended solo since the pandemic. Hopefully, it doesn’t happen against on Tuesday.

    32 FTA vs 19, 25 TOs.

Sorry Derek, but welcome to New Orleans sports.

Best decision today was to stop watching this garbage and watch the Bucks Warriors game. Jrue and Steph exchanging clutch buckets at the end crazy

Fuck man. What a bummer. Hard to watch lately with any emotional investment. Wish we would embrace the youth more – Dyson should be playing way more minutes. Kira as well. Figure out what you have in them if nothing else

So much for the Lakers pick being valuable

It’s a coaching problem when you let an undrafted player have the opportunity to turn the ball over 7 times in this game and play 35 minutes. Most of those aren’t even forced turnovers and the minutes aren’t justified; just mediocre defense and bad offense.

This is just unwatchable. The “fight” from this team is gone. Turns out you have to have actual structure and discipline and not go off of cliche sports movie speeches to win basketball games.

  10. Talk about a must win game and the team lost it in the first half.

Fuck these referees man, killed the sliver of hope that we had and as usual every game shai gets 47 free throws against us.

I’ve made so much money off these scrubs in the last three weeks. Keep it up Pels!

Remember when we were excited about the easier remaining schedule after the break?

That means nothing when your team isn’t playing well/injured

    We’re such a fuckin disappointment.

Considering the white hot season start, and now we’re at this point… man.

The continued abusive relationship of being a Pelicans fan.

  14. Darthron911

That was a tough game to watch. Lucky we only lost by 14.

  15. No use comparing FT attempts when we spend all first half just passing it around the 3pt line.

  16. Glad that I did not watch the game. If we lose tomorrow and BI still not coming back, season is over

  17. Fkintaxidrivers

Anyone who was able to catch the game

How did Naji get 7 WHOLE turnovers?

Team sucks and there isn’t really a way around it. The spirit is just gone, there’s no fun in this group anymore. Just have to embrace the late-stage tank and hope (again) for an offseason turnaround. Looking forward to watching the playoffs.

I knew they would lose but still chose to watch the game. That’s on me.

  20. Reports are saying Derek Carr has voided his contract after watching that mess.

Think this season is a bit of a dagger for me re sports teams. Seems that every single year my team/s look somewhat promising they completely shit the bed. This season was looking too good. Need that A Bronx Tale Mickey Mantle scene tattooed into my brain whenever I get too invested I think.

  22. Shoddy_Impact1226

We should start playing Temple 40 minutes per night.

  23. thomaslauch43

Can’t watch the game. Why did herb play only 18 minutes?

I’m getting a really tired with our offensive identity. We run so many DHOs but we perform them too slow or we fall into a pattern and it’s predictable to guard. The whole point of a dribble hand off is the quick offensive counters your able to pull off in responds to how the defense plays around it. The counters I’m talking about are mainly with the player doing the DHO or the screener. We don’t really play off the screener rejecting the handoff and driving for layup or kick out. We kinda suck big time at reading the defense after dribble hand offs too; on the hand off someone is usually dribbling too much or trying to drive instead of reading the defense and making the open pass.

A lot of this is pick and pop and getting our spacing better, but I think we need redefine our offense entirely. Our ball movement becomes way to stagnant sometimes because we dribble way to much which is a result of needing more off ball movement to create easier opportunities to score or make plays. Willie said he was gonna implement more of this but it’s easier said than done, it’s gonna require running more action in our offensive sets and well timed cuts so the passing lane is easier for our guys. The 25 TO was a result of stagnation in offensive and trying to do to much instead being patient and making smart plays.
