Lost to Memphis, Minnesota and Knicks. This is why I worry when this team faces teams with good big men. Granted they still win this game if they just make their free throws and some open threes but AD struggles to score more against defensive bigs, everyone else has a harder time getting to the rim and we get outrebounded.

Edit: for the people who are not seeing my point you’re telling me you want to face JJ and Adams or Jokic or Giannis and Brook Lopez or Zubac and Plumlee with 6’9 Wenyen who isn’t a good rebounder and gets overpowered as your backup centre? Okay then….
You also have to think about how this team couldn’t keep RJ and Scottie and OG from getting whatever they wanted in the paint the last two games or Ja a few weeks back. The team needs another rim protecting rebounding big to help AD and make guys think twice about driving to the rim cause some of our guards have proven they will get taken off the dribble to the rim repeatedly.

    Famous last words:

“Went to the clipper game today, the Knicks didn’t look good at all. Second of a back to back too tomorrow”

Some of you just don’t know when to shut up sometimes lol

  3. just_one_random_guy

Wtf was that game plan at the end?

  4. Conflict_NZ

What an absolutely pathetic effort tonight, you would think the Lakers were the ones on the back to back watching this game. Knicks were pushing the pace all night and beating the Lakers up the floor on every possession so the defence couldn’t get set. So sick of the “locked in” words but not backing it up with effort.

  5. weekndalex

every time we’re on the cusp of .500 we lose. i’m fucking tired man

  6. Such a lame performance in a very winnable game. Too many dumb mistakes

  7. LeBrons7thRing

Game is on Darvin Scam and the brick bros (Beasley and Brown)

Also Troy Brown made RJ Barrett look like a star in the 4th gave him so much confidence and layups. He’s the one who separated the game. He also got cooked up by Quickley

  8. Internal-Base6159

We hired our head coach because he wasn’t mean to Russ like Vogel was

  9. Smooth-Beginning-365

Elite game plan from Ham waste 15 crucial seconds to foul 🔥🔥

  10. JilJungJukk

That zone defense to start the 4th fucked us up, they made three consecutive threes when we were to looking to increase our lead.

  11. superworriedspursfan

IMO Rui deserved more minutes but it is what it is. Next game.

  12. AD inconsistent as fuck. If he plays even half decent, this is a W.

  13. TB3 going 0-8 was kinda the killer. So many open looks

  14. It’s ok can’t win em all. Gotta practice 1000 free throws while we are at it.

  15. SumoRock

Absolutely unacceptable loss. Can’t even beat a team missing their best player on a back to back at home.

  16. Troy Brick Jr tonight:
0-8FGs, 0-7 from 3pt range, 3-4FTs. Couldn’t stay in front of his man all game & had some really awful fouls. Ham not limiting his minutes when he was missing open 3s & getting smoked on D was the icing on the cake

  17. keepgrindingact

AD back to being trash again. Randle fucking outplayed him

  18. Consistent_Owl4593

A team on a back to back played with more urgency than a team who can’t afford any losses how pathetic

  19. rybeegood

    Loss is on Ham

    1. Not staggering AD and Dlo
    2. sticking with Troy too long
    3. giving up open threes with that zone at the beginning of the fourth that got the Knicks going

  20. psimoestr

Feel like we weren’t running any plays in the 4th. We have Anthony Davis man, run a fucking bread-and-butter pick-and-roll. Is it that hard? Also, I like Wenyen, but he can’t be the fucking center. Just gives away too much rebounding and rim protection. We gotta sign someone ASAP until Bamba comes back.

  21. DGVega93

Lost a very winnable game. No coaching adjustments from Ham and AD seemed like he was trying to go to the Oscar Parties tonight rather getting us to .500. Thanks D’LO for showing up to play and win tonight!

  22. levantoo

How does Darvin watch Troy go 0-8 and still give him 28 minutes? Come on man do better.

  23. oldgarfield

Cheer up guys! We will reach 50-50 in 2 games. Not the end of the world.

  24. discussionandrespect

If reaves got more minutes over Beasley we would have won that game

  25. NotADeadTurtle

All teams we wanted to lose ended up winning. Plus we shat the bed.

    Not ideal.

  26. heartbrken19

why is ham so obsessed with troy brown ? he was useless all game and still logged 28 minutes

  27. This one was really frustrating…awful games from Troy and Malik. AD not playing well. Barely 60% from the line. This was so winnable dammit.

  28. RandyLahey514

Boys looked hungover against a tired Knicks team.

Ham rides bad lineups way too long. Glued Reeves to the bench after a great first half.

Then that timeout at the end wtf bro you understand there are two possessions needed?

What’s he drawing on that whiteboard some stick people?

  29. relivesa

Sucks to lose a winnable game. But Lakers weren’t going to go undefeated the rest of the way. Keep going 3-1 every four games and it’s all good.

  30. So first he takes out our two best players at the same time. Then the end of game management is still horrible

  31. Numerous_Ad2168

Sometimes AD takes the night off. This was one of them. 17 in 18 shots is not gonna be good enough vs playoff caliber teams

  32. Ham saying in the post-game that he wouldn’t change anything in the final 19 seconds is why he’s a terrible coach.
