Honestly I do sort of agree that our play style doesn’t look that fun to watch, don’t get me wrong I’ll still watch the raps even if they went 0-82, but what’s your guys thoughts this question?

  1. There’s hair on my screen and it won’t go away

ISO ball is boring. One of the most fun teams to watch was the early 2000’s Kings. That ball used to hum around the court. Pure artistry.

They aren’t wrong lol. Our offence can be pretty hard to watch.

  4. UjiriWatcher

It’s the ugliest brand of basketball in the league. The offence has been getting worse every single season since The championship and the front office keep double downing on it.

  5. FallenLemur

It’s frustrating to watch, but I will watch every minute of every game.

I feel like anyone who is being objective can acknowledge the Raptors (and Heat) are not fun to watch.

No superstar on the team, very simple offense, poor shooters, no bench mob, average all around…

I think we’re really feeling the effect of the decline and departure of Lowry.

    No ball movement

    Selfish basketball

    Terrible shooting

    Terrible half court offense

You’re best half court scorer is Siakam who is M.I.A every fourth quarter

You got a bunch of players who do a bunch of bone headed plays every game

Triple team star players and watch role players light us up

Ugly offense/defense and we watch every game

Raptors half court offense is legitimately terrible to watch as is some of the early 3 ball shot selection

It’s frustrating to watch, but it’s not boring to watch

Man, why does other team’s fans criticizing our players irk me so much more than our own doing that?

Started great against the Lakers, great ball movement and shot selection…then they took a nice big dookie on the court.

I will not watch them if they go 0-82…. their second and third quarter play sends me away most of the time lately as it’s garbage.

Scottie needs to become the focal point on O and og needs to be resigned. Pskillz can be traded for a great haul and that’s the style/players I’d like to lean into. Cause right now…this is a bottom 5 offense in the nba

  11. I dip in and out of the games because I really don’t care to invest 2 1/2 hours of my evening watching such an ugly brand of uninspired basketball. I’ve found myself checking out matchups and teams that are actually fun to watch and worth the time.

We dont have that grab the headlines type of scorer/ produces highlights , a type of defense that takes away the reason most people tune in and an awful bench

DeMar and Kawhi produced highlights be it with the midrange/athletic dunks ( Deebo ) or Kawhi with his 2-way masterpiece

  13. This team had an identity with the current players of being able to hold their own defensively. This to me is at times more enjoyable than offence, but this season they haven’t even had that.

I agree with Heat and Raptors being some of the most boring teams in the league.

The raptors are 26th in half court offense says Zach lowe on his latest pod. Don’t remember if it’s points per possession, points per 100 possessions, etc. The point is that the raps are in last place in half court offense for the teams that are trying to win. Lmao

As someone who’s watched every game this season, yeah, the Raps play some really ugly ball. They have moments of greatness where things are clicking but it’s extremely inconsistent. The half-court offence is horrendous, the defense falls asleep half the time and lets players drive right to the rim with no resistance. It’s rough.

I kept up hope that they would figure shit out but honestly, after that Lakers loss my hope is pretty much gone for this squad this season. There’s a lot of issues and they seem to be pretty deeply rooted because they haven’t really fixed any of them. I hope they can make it into the playoffs and maybe make make a little noise but at this point I’m not holding my breath anymore.

I don’t have a solution, nor would I suggest any because I think the issues are way more complex and nuanced than most people seem to think. I’m going to continue to trust in the front office to do what they do best because they know way better than any of us.
