I’ve said it before I’ll say it again oracle>chase center

  2. MultiPass21

Is Oracle still being used for live events? I stopped paying attention once the Dubs left.

Make that MFer the play-in game!!!

    Shock and awe approach.

Now that I think about it, the last game at Oracle was Game 6 of the 2019 Finals, where Klay got hurt, and the Raptors beat the Dubs. It was a sad game, and seeing Steph so deflated hurts.

I think Steph wants to have his final game at Oracle end on a high note, and not that Game 6 in 2019. And I do hope that the NBA will allow the Dubs to go back at Oracle for Steph’s final season.

With free first come first serve tickets.

  6. dnesdnal17

Make it like the last or first game of the season every season.

  7. basic_cinephile

It might just be me, but the energy at Oracle is so much better than at Chase. Another Steph W

  8. The ticket prices for that one last Oracle game would be so high …

  9. mattjchin

Yes Chase is good and all but no venue past present or future will ever beat Oracle

I’m sure the Giants will let him pinch hit at least one game. BOOM! Game at Oracle

  11. gregburgs

Oracle is the best NBA arena bar none. Best fans in the world

Giants didn’t play at Candlestick again and my recollection is Niners only did an exhibition celebrity game. We all wanted it. I can see that influencing Lacob.

Steph should plan a fundraiser, Curry’s all stars against Harlem Globetrotters or And1 mixtape reunion.

  13. Nessmuk58

Should require an East Bay Zip Code to buy tickets!

    🙂

I remember my first game I saw was Warriors vs Houston first time Yao was playing at Oakland Arena. I was so high I barely saw anything but I still remember every bit of that day. I would pay biiig money for another game at oracle.

Problem is the tickets will be priced like chase center, so the crowd will not be the Roaracle crowd be knew and loved.

  16. Tunnelboy77

Been to Roaracle maybe 30 times and Chase twice. My impression of Chase is:

    1) It’s incredibly sterile and has no soul whatsoever. Everything is bright white.

    2) The scoreboard is ridiculously huge and in your face. This is like getting a 77″ TV for your bathroom. It is SO in your face that it’s sometimes hard to watch the game. Especially when in a higher up section. Very distracting There is such a thing as too much.

    3) Speaking of high up. One time we were way up in the nosebleeds and it’s crazy. You basically spread your legs to watch the game. You’re looking down.

    4) Yeah transit sucks bad there. Once we took Muni, and once the ferry from Oakland. The ferry is nice, but the dock is like a mile north of Chase! It’s a surprisingly long walk. Don’t understand that. Muni was fine going there, but after the game? What a mess. My GF has claustrophobia and the way they pack those streetcars, she freaked and we had to get off and ended up walking the whatever 2 miles to the BART station.

Would love to see a few games back in Oakland.

Imagine warriors playing home games @Chase and road games @Oracle

  18. KetchupChipsInBed

I went for Disney on Ice w/ kiddos and man, the nostalgia of that concrete fortress…! I asked security if there was catfish & chips in upper level but they laughed—haven’t had that (best arena food ever) since the Warrior days! Club 200, Section 232, Newton’s Southern Comfort Food: RIP 🙏

  19. eparedes19

i would shed a tear. still haven’t been to chase. still miss oracle

  20. Why not? The Spurs did a similar thing when they played at the Alamodome for one game.
