  1. Pretty sure r/NBA would disable this given the state of that sub recently

  2. iH8Celtics

The odds may not show it yet but I think Embiid has become the mvp favorite

  3. No_Introduction_7034

I feel like even last year all the players thought it was Embiid

  4. Primary-Lie3886

it’s just hard for me to understand why the media loves jokic. It’s okay to talk about how good he is because he’s a great player but they completely undermine embiid as if he some “ft only crybaby” when he’s most dominate if you have eyes watch the games.

  5. ArroganceIsPotent

I mean you could say that but referencing a poll with 1,000 votes doesn’t prove much lol

  6. bravof1ve

Because the neutral in this fanbases are less invested in pushing for their favorite than the Zach Lowe and Michael Pina types, who want a 3rd MVP at all costs to validate their own analytics and intelligence

  7. Neat-Confidence5556

I just don’t think he’ll get enough 1st place votes from these cocksucker writers. It just seems impossible for him to win it. we all know he deserves it, but the writers won’t budge

Fans aren’t paid by ESPN or bill Simmons

Meanwhile, the analysts say the west is wide open ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|shrug)

I don’t understand the case for Giannis. He leads the league in usage %, so his scoring is up. But everything else about his play is down. Easily his worst year ignoring points. If Giannis is in the conversation because of scoring, how does is not factor more for Embiid, who is much more efficient.scoring more with less usage rate?

  11. Because of this nonsense, I now hate Jokic. I want him to fail. I hate watched the Nets-Nuggets game yesterday.

  12. HumperMoe

I’m loving how the unhinged nuggets fans only argument now is ‘Embiid has Harden’

  13. nilesecoyote

Analysts take this data and will say “majority of fans think Embiid should NOT be the MVP”

  14. International-Dish95

Still a relatively small sample size but if the records stay close and if they win the game in Denver then you could make the argument … but 2 crappy embiid games next week and the mvp race is over in the eyes of the media members.

  15. And Bill Simmons actually said Embiid over Jokic today. This will do a lot for Joel’s stake tbh. Bill is an idiot but people listen to him 🤷🏻‍♂️

  16. IDoesThis1

Embiid was the favorite to win around this time the last 2 years and lost so I’m not paying this any mind

  17. Joel Embiid is the best player on the planet. Anyone who disagrees with me is an incorrect asshole

  18. TwistedKane

Someone should just make this a subreddit
“Unbiasednba” would be perfect for people who fucking hate the nba subreddit and how chokic gets his meat sucked by the analysts
