Coach Malone is the weakest link with Murray. He finally realized today when they were losing that he needed to utilize Christian Brown. Who is great in defence. He gave too Much minutes for Murray and Reggie Jackson who is not himself yet. Murray, the supposed to be playmaker is having 1 assist. There is a reason why he wasn't AN ALL STAR. He was INCONSISTENT EVEN BEFORE INJURY. He had a spark of good games in the BUBBLE. BUT EVEN TJ WARREN WAS LIKE MJ IN THE BUBBLE. Denver doesn't have identity in their game without Jokić. For example. Look at LAKERS NOW. They have identity without Lebron for now. They utilize Davis more and more, Shroder, Russell, Hachimura, Reeves.. Denver doesn't have system outside of Jokić. They don't have a scorer or playmaker that will galvanize the troops for more than one game. Jokić needs someone like Damian LILLARD OR DONOVAN MITCHELL. A SCORER ON A CONSISTENT BASIS.
Last play should have been an easy 2 points to send it to OT by Jokic pushing downlow/hook shot like he always do in few seconds + probability of getting foul is pretty high too as refs are kinda keen to give this W for Nuggets and also, could have been an alleyoop dunk/toss for Brown as 2 nets got lost already and both reached Jokic while Brown was kinda wide open for an alleyoop but they still went for a contested 3. Showed how Nuggets isn't ready yet to closed out big crucial games. Warriors/Mavs or Lakers in 8th seed might upset this Nuggets team in the 1st round.
Explain how Jokic can be +14 in 39 minutes? It means that when he was on the bench, this team got outscored by 16 in only 9 minutes. Absolutely shameful. Reggie Jackson is an absolutely terrible basketball player. Michael Malone needs to stop his Murray fetish and going with 3 guards. Murray will never be and can never be the main focal point of the team. Play Braun more, tell Murray to stop shooting when the shot isn't falling, play through your God-damn MVP and fix your rotations. Get Braun more minutes. No one could be worse than Jackson right now.
