Also the fact that Mavs only took 8 FTs the entire game just shows Kidd has no offensive plan. The best way for a bunch of role players to get thru a game is by living in the FT line.

Things in a coach we need:
Disciplined/holds players accountable
Methodical/Systemic/creative plays
Involved/Active
Fundamentals(Free throws, rebounding)
All of these things we are lacking from the top down.
We now have as many losses as the 12 seed.
I was told Mavs defense is spectacular without Luka.

This push the pace crap needs to end. Guys are clearly gassing early. Turnovers are suicidal. Kyrie can push it if he wants when Luka sits. Mix and Match. Our tactics blow though. At least we can rest assured that we’ll fall ass backwards through the play-in to an early summer and go through the off-season without replacing Powell, letting Wood go for nothing, and still have another year of bliss with J Kidd at the helm…

First game I haven’t watched this season, without Luka, Kyrie, and Wood it was just a non-starter for me.
I hope Josh has got his swagger back and that it sticks around when Luka and Kyrie come back.

Depressing season. Worst non tanking/playoff contending Mavs team since I became a fan in the 01-02 season. Watching Luka Ky and Wood on the bench as our team gets destroyed at home was gut wrenching and legit demoralizing. I don’t remember feeling this sad and hopeless for my Mavs EVER!!
Remember when people thought we would go like 18-4 In the final 22 games and kept talking up and we have the easiest strength of schedule? So laughable.
This team is a first round exit at best. I won’t be surprised if we miss the playoffs entirely. Kidd has to go and the roster needs a complete overhaul

What a kick in the nuts game. Had this on the calendar for a month for me and my son to go to and drive to Dallas. Got raked over the coals by ticket master and Ja, Luka and Kyrie didn’t play. I get injuries happen, oh well.
Regardless, Watching Hardy and Green was exciting, they develop more and are going to be great.
Watching Powell, THJ, Maxi try to play basketball made me want to claw my eyes out. Good god what originally looked like one of the more exciting matchups of the year ended up one of the worst games and losses of the year.
Kidd ain’t getting fired. Cuban doesn’t have the balls. He hired a friend. He doesn’t want anything to be awkward about that 2011 title team.
