Incredibly irresponsible. Said it back then when it happened & I still couldn’t believe we played 60 games with no back up smh. Ty Lue wasn’t serious from the start

  1. Taliban Ty is awful but this was not his call. This was Lawrence Frank’s call and as good as an executive as he is, he also makes mistakes and clearly this was one of them. We all knew the point guard hole was bigger than the Center hole. We had Zubac playing full time at the 5. We had absolutely nobody on the 1 going into this season before they signed Wall.

Lol Ty doesn’t work for the front office

wait a second, this is sort of twisted on Isiah’s part. He and his agent did not tell the Clippers they would take less. They got the most they could.

I thought it was fine at the time because I assumed Lue would play Roco as the backup C🙄

Meanwhile he signed for $18 mill. He wasn’t turning that down.

I thought our front office was supposed to be competent.

  7. Just curious, does anyone know how well he’s doing this season. Is he still as good as he was with us?
    Edit: Typo

  8. Who cares. This sub turns into the Lakers sub when they start obsessing about replaceable mediocre role players.

lol we still going to pretend hart was good?

It’s not Ty Lou’s decision whether players come or go. He has great influence over the roster but the general manager ultimately decides to keep or cut players.

It’s John Wall’s fault. The washed SOB was already making 40+ from Houston. He hampered his new team’s title chances while supposedly *chasing a ring* just so he wouldn’t make a penny less than 47m. He could’ve signed for the min like Russ and let us keep iHart.

Worked out though, Plumlee is a million times better.

He was never going to take the MLE

At the time, I believe it was the right move.

why do u guys keep posting shit like this are you all actually 12 y.o? We have plumlee now; if we didnt, sure cry over hart.

Reality is even if he was signed, ty would either 1) not play him in the playoffs or 2) he would not be serviceable to us. He still fouls at the worst times, and he hasnt really added anything this season. Plumlee means less rim protection but he was picked up specifically for possible playoff matchups. Has way more experience and in general, more tools that can help any team get better.

I wont lie I was on the hart hype train all of last season, but his limitations were very obvious. Plumlee has been doing dumb shit but the guy is just trying to win somehow, cant really fault him for that. He reminds me of nico at the 5, smart team player who knows exactly what this team’s issues are.
