  1. By next video get a new hat bruh 🤦🏿‍♂️ you can't only own 1

  2. Paul Reed has played near starter minutes in 4 games that Joel didn't play. Here are the results:

    1. 31 min vs Brooklyn on 11/22/22. He had 19 pts (7/9) with 10 rebounds and was a +21.

    2. 30 min at ORL on 11/27/22. He had 12 pts (6/6) with 10 boards and was a +28.

    3. 24 min at DET on 1/8/23. He had 16 pts (6/7) with 12 boards and was a +9.

    4. Almost 29 min at MIA on 3/1/23. He had 16 pts (7/10) with 14 boards and was a +26.

    Average is 28.5 min 15.75 pts (26/32) with 11.5 boards and a +84.

    All 4 games were wins.

So why going into last night's game would Doc convince himself that 6'4" PJ Tucker could defend Bam better that 6'9" Reed or McDaniels? Although half the time, Tucker wasn't defending Bam, when he did, in the paint, Bam scored over Tucker at will.

It's not Tucker's fault. It's Doc's fault for not knowing his own players.

  3. Thybulle is shooting 54% from 3 pt (24/26) and playing 30 mpg for POR.
I like McDaniels but now Doc is holding him back, just like he held back Tisse.

Doc still doesn't know the ability of his players, because he isn't willing to experiment, even when players show no energy.
Most fans will judge the players by the minutes that Doc gives them.
However, someone like Danuel House, who doesn't complain, is very athletic and can shoot, if given enough playing time and being encouraged (something Doc doesn't do with bench players).

  4. I am a big fan of Maxey, but as I said in the preseason, Starting is Overrated.
Maxey is still getting starter minutes in most games.
However, Maxey just naturally defers to Harden, and defers to Joel even more.
As a result, its better to let Joel get going to start game and hopefully see his shot falling.
When Maxey is playing without Joel or Harden, he naturally takes over as team leader, with license to shoot.

And Doc usually lets Maxey play about 12 of the last 14 minutes of close games. If team is behind, Maxey has more chance to provide a spark. When he was starting, he'd sit out about 6 minutes to start the 4th.

  5. Instead of Maxey starting, it should be McDaniels in lieu of PJ Tucker.
I can almost guarantee that McD would start having games with 15 or more points, if he could play 20-25 mpg as a starter.
Doc needs to not make the same mistake he did with Thybulle (holding him back).
It seems that Doc expects McD to have some huge scoring games before being allowed to start.
That isn't how it works and Doc is to blame.

Regarding Reed: He's committing 3.67 fouls per 20 minutes of play.
So although Reed shouldn't start, he should comfortably play 20 mpg without fear of fouling out by crunch time.
To date Paul has played ZERO minutes alongside Joel. If Doc would make that adjustment, and give some of the Tucker (should come off the bench), Niang and even Tobias minutes.
Niang has been off all month. If his shot hasn't been falling. then don't play Georges.

    Start McD over Tucker.
Let Reed play all backup 5 minutes, and about 10 min alongside Joel.
Reed + Joel + McD with Maxey and Harden in crunch time, is fine with me.
