  1. Dinwiddie going psycho mid court šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  2. HEELHousell

Can we collectively pretend Reddit is still down so we don’t have to acknowledge that awful game?

  3. GreenpointKuma

In the postgame presser, Vaughn just said that Dinwiddie “made all the right plays.”

    šŸ¤£

  4. EliManningham

Westbrook with the Lakers: 15/6/7 on 41/29/65

Spencer on the Nets: 18/4/7 on 41/29/83

Do what you will with this info.

  5. Yet another game of Dinwiddie playing heroball and Vaugh just allowing it to happen.. GET THE BALL IN MIKALā€™S HAND HE IS YOUR BEST PLAYER.. itā€™s seriously so frustrating seeing Dinwiddie controlling this offense and Vaughn making no changes to it.

  6. ThePessimisticBella

Spencer, please accept the fact that Mikal is THAT GUY for THIS TEAM.

    PLEASE.

  7. mylowerbackhurts

This is going to be a dinwiddie hate thread but the real story took place in the paint

  8. Never_enough_Dolf

I have not seen a player singlehandedly lose a game for the Nets like Spence just did since Joe Harris against the Bucks

  9. A_Polite_Noise

Gross. I’m gonna play videogames and not think about this. Too many minutes for guys wore them down and Spencer in particular clearly both physically and mentally in the end with how bad his decision making became. He and everyone should rest up back home and beat the Kings in Kings County Thursday and we’ll all be happy again. That easy. See y’all then!

  10. Padulsky21

Spence sold hard but people also have to realize that Mikal defers to him. And thatā€™s alright bc itā€™s still a relatively new group that has worked a lot out, but when you donā€™t have a closer you tend to get comfortable passing it off to one person to make things work.

Spence is being asked to do too much. He should be playing off ball more late in games and having Mikal take it up the court. JV had a shit game and Spence had a shit half but Mikal has been a #3 option his entire career, and thatā€™ll work itself out as he gets more used to being a #1 option.

I canā€™t even put it all on Spence bc people were missing FTs and playing shitty defense. JV also didnā€™t call a TO during the 3rd. Just a sloppy sloppy 2nd half

  11. SixthFan

When Dinwiddie gets hot headed he gets tunnel vision, he starts making stupid selfish plays, his decision making becomes horrible and he becomes a massive liability on defense. JV needs to recognise this and either bench him or calm him tf down. Itā€™s unfortunate because he had a great first half but that emotional second half from him killed us.

Also Mikal needs to be getting more touches in the fourth.

Itā€™s the end of a lengthy road trip and the Thunder had Lu Dort turn into Klay Thompson against us (as per usual) so it is what it is. They have a really hard stretch of games coming up now and the team needs to focus on staying out of the play-in. Annoying that we gave the Knicks the 5th seed with this loss.

  12. MichelleCS1025

Why does it seem like this team always loves to drive the ball in the paint only to pass it to the opposing team? Itā€™s so aggravating seeing that happen so often, I pretty much expect a turnover whenever I see anyone drive the ball.

  13. CheetahWoods

While I think every Nets fan knows Dinwiddie is not the answer for a team that has championship aspirations..heā€™s the best option Nets have for this season.

It is what it is. This was the last game of a successful road trip. Guys in the 2nd half def played with less energy, maybe tired legs.

Letā€™s hope they close out the season strong and finish with 45+wins. To get the 5th-6th seed

  14. EddyTreeNJ

I would love a point guard like Giddey on the Nets. He would be a good fit fit us.

  15. sabascastellon

Well, the good news is as of right now anyways. The Knicks are losing by 11. Hopefully they lose again and we still up one in the lost column.

  16. broooooklyn

Wouldā€™ve been a nice game to see Nerlens get some run. Team sorely needed paint defense and rebounding. The small ball DFS lineup can work in certain scenarios, todays game was not it.

  17. SabresMakeMeDrink

Inexcusable 2nd half. Guess OKC is going to be that random bad team (a la the Bulls) that just owns usā€¦because.

  18. Padulsky21

Best thing I can come from this is OKC jumping Mavs in the standings. I want the Mavs to fall out of the playoffs so fucking badly

  19. richonarampage

SGA would look pretty amazing in a Nets uniformā€¦
SGA for Dinwiddie. Who says no? ;p

  20. zestysnacks

Well we stole that one from the nuggets. Had to pay it back lol

  21. babeltwo

    1st half looked great.
3rd quarter the main guys looked gassed & given theyā€™ve played big minutes since the trade itā€™s understandable. The game was lost on the boards in the 3rd when our shots went cold & OKC was hungry.
Itā€™s going to happen so I hope JV gets together a plan for those situations.

I wouldā€™ve loved to have seen the C team that took it to the Bucks have a run a little into the 3rd. It would have given the main guys time to regather and get hungry again.
I guess if we lost by the same amount everyone would be screaming at JV etc but thereā€™s one hell of a crew between those guys- Patty, DDj, Yuta Dru and maybe Noel. Not to mention Cam T

Bringing Seth and Joey on in the 4th was a good move but the game was running away by that point.

Still, great team & onto the next

  22. Acceptable-Remote582

Still no minutes for Cam Thomas, i seeā€¦ šŸ„“

  23. eclectic1_3003

Cam J was killing it in the first half then he barely got any shot attempts, Cam is really talented and has a lot more show and he continues to grow, I would love to see him get a lot more reps as he is constantly learning and improving and has very high b-ball IQ.

Edit: He’s also getting better and better at drawing fouls!
