What are the concerns for the Milwaukee Bucks as they pursue another NBA championship?

The Milwaukee Bucks are clear at the top of the Eastern Conference, in good form an extremely deep, but are there any concerns on the road to the postseason? Will Mike Budenholzer struggle with a deep rotation? Will the team make some threes? How anxiety inducing is the health status? Kane and Camille break it all down while also asking about the importance of a scoring title on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s resume and taking some time to enjoy another 50-win season!

  1. There are still some injuries, are they real or some sort of load management stuff?

  2. book it, ingles is amazing with ball in half court something that's been non existent since this win streak, not to crazy about crowder but have to admit he might be pretty good cause Giannis makes your job that much more easier, Middleton has to continue to improve so he doesn't look like he can hardly move

  3. To answer before watching the video. There are 3 things I believe could stop us from winning another title, but I don’t think they will.
    1) turnovers. Goes without being said, we go through stretches of making stupid passes
    2) offensive stagnation. When we are moving and passing the ball, it’s almost impossible to stop our offense. We have so many guys who can shoot, so many guys who can create their own shot. I feel like at times we make it so hard on ourselves by going iso, and our players are still good enough to score, but we could make it so much easier by moving the ball around
    3) 3 point shooting. Got to hit open shots. I think this year we have way more shooting options with Khris, jrue, joe, carter, Allen, Pat, crowder, Lopez. All guys who can get hot from 3. You’d like to believe in each playoff game at least 1-2 of those guys will be on

  4. To be honest, there aren't any real concerns right now. Still, if I have to be nitpicky I would go with: The bench doesn't seem as productive without Khris in its mix. It's as if people lose hope of taking up those spare minutes… Other than that, so long as health isn't an issue, there isn't much we should be concerned about…

  5. Rotations could beat us. I have definitely seen us play the wrong guys in certain matchups.

We just been lucky enough to still win those games.

Glad to see Middleton back in the starting lineup. This helps a ton.

  6. Every week I look at the various NBA Power Rankings.
CBS is for sure the most stupid. This week they have Sixers (4 games behind Bucks) as #1 and Sacr #2 (10 games behind) # 2. Bucks #3.
What a joke !! By the way, these 2 teams have had #2 and #3 easiest strength of Schedule.

  7. I think this team is far better than the championship team. Sadly, the competition is better 😅

  8. Pat starts for me in the post season not only can shoot the 3 but always gives us 2nd chance points with his offensive rebounding and tap ons

    Giannis Khris jrue brook pat

  9. The biggest fear is Coach Bud slipping into his old ways. Getting outfoxed by younger, more inexperienced coaches during the playoffs. For instance, not calling timeouts where they are most needed. Keeping Khris Middleton on the floor if he's not up to par & forgetting all about Mar Jon Beauchamp. The Bucks players getting mixed up on pick and rolls when guarding quickly-rotating players who love shooting and making 3s , and most importantly, not guarding players like James Harden and Steph Curry as they should be guarded🗑🏀

  10. On paper, this team is built for a deep run. I still think their half-court offense is decent but ultimately if they stick to their defensive identity, I just don't see any team beating MIL 4 times out of 7. To me, stars are gonna be stars, especially in this current league. To me, series comes down to the role players. So Pat, Grayson, Bobby, Jae, Joe, Wesley and Jevon. At least 3 of these guys have to show up consistently for a whole series for them to remain dominant. The fact that I named seven dudes is a testament to how deep that roster is. I consider the current stars Giannis, Jrue, Khris and Brook. That core will do what they do. A tough series will come down to the role guys.

And please, I love Gianni, but I always facepalm when he pulls up a three early in the shot clock. It hurts my soul. He can hit that shot…but he can find better ones. What is it that Gianni says? If this team stays humble, they win? Just follow that and we should see them in the Finals against whatever sorry West team comes out.

  11. My main concern is late game management. There have been enough instances of too many mistakes, bad decisions and throwing away leads in the closing minutes of games.

  12. Concerns:

Health. Primarily amongst the core guys.

Point-of-Attack on-ball defense. Only truly trust Jrue.

Turnovers. Sloppy careless play & weaker primary ball handlers.

Streaky shooting can present offensive struggles.

    Giannis FT shooting consistency.

Too much Point Giannis where he’s initiating the offense from the top of the key and constantly calling for ISO Hero Ball plays.

  13. Actually it’s turnovers and defensive intensity from Giannis and everyone following his lead

I haven’t like his defense this year but I believe he’s aware and is getting better every game down the stretch

If we turn the ball over less than 12 -14 times we beat everyone because we get so many shots and bad things happen for other teams – that’s the focus imo

  14. The only team that can beat the Bucks is themselves. If they play their style of basketball and make good adjustments they should be good.

  15. I think Pat has been over taxed in his role. Once the team is fully whole he'll settle in his smaller, spark plug role.

  16. Health bc khris Middleton can not play two days in a row and sometimes more I just want him to get better before playoffs

  17. As it stands now, I think this team looks even better than they did when they won the Finals. My only concern is staying healthy. I 100% agree with Kane regarding this team's depth. How can that be a bad thing?! We need the depth in order to play the right guys depending on the matchup in the playoffs. I have no concerns with Bud and his staff. I think the man has clearly earned the benefit of the doubt over the years. Remember when Kidd was our coach??? Ooof.

As for the MVP race, Embiid can have it. Let him waste his energy in the regular season going all out for an individual award. We are focused on bigger and better things. GO BUCKS!!
