Yeah he’s playing through an injury on his shooting hand that will require surgery to fix. He probably wishes he could at least rest it but, you know, Zion’s out and you can pencil BI for a splinter in his toe any day now so the old guy on the roster has to tough it out for the sake of his team.

This is definitely a little concerning, I knew CJ hasn’t been great efficiency-wise this season, but I didn’t realize it was this bad. Especially when he had around 49% with us last season.
I feel like this is from a lot of his decision making and shot selection. We need to reduce those tough contested shots and add some more off ball movement from him instead of running constant iso plays. Just wanna see better ball movement from him and the team and I believe his effectiveness will drastically improve.

Being asked to run the offense and be the primary scorer for a majority of the year while having a thumb injury. This sub has no problem crucifying guys who play hurt but you will get downvoted to hell if you suggest our two Allstars try to be on game shape or play banged up.

Using FG% in 2023 should be a federal offense. That being said, CJ hasn’t been shooting well, but at least he’s actually playing and through an injury no less. Unlike SOME of our players.
