[A song for the current mood.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQ0dyRJnNVk)

Teams:

1. The Wizards are now on a 32-37.
2. The Wizards are currently 16-17 at home games & 16-20 at road games.
3. The Wizards are now 16-16 in the year 2023 (16W & 16L) – from 16-21 to 32-37.
4. The Wizards are now 4-7 since the All-Star break.
5. The Wizards are now 11-11 since the trade with Rui Hachimura (11 W & 11 L).
Before the trade, the Wizards were 17-13 (17 W & 13 L) with him (in games he played), and 3-13 (3 W & 13 L) in games he wasn’t playing.
Overall, the Wizards were a 20-26 record before this trade.
6. The Wizards are now an 11-3 when Deni Avdija scores 13+ points.
7. The Wizards won after 3 straight losses, including 5 out of the last 6 (well, now it’s 5 out of the last 7).
8. The Wizards won the Pistons in their last 16 home games.
9. In a rare coincidence, the Detroit Pistons won a night before the Pacers [117-97](https://www.nba.com/game/ind-vs-det-0022201020/box-score#box-score), and tonight loss in the same result they won – [97-117](https://www.nba.com/game/det-vs-was-0022201028/box-score?type=traditional).
10. The Wizards are now 24-4 when allowed 111 points or less, including 15 wins in their last 16 when it happens.
11. The Wizards won the Pistons in all of their last 8 games of head-to-head matchups, including 10 out of the last 11.
12. The historical head-to-head matchup during the regular season – Wizards vs. the Pistons: 141-157 to the Pistons.
13. The Pistons are now 3-10 in the 2nd game of back-to-back games.
14. The Pistons lost 12 out of their last 13 games, including 15 out of their last 17 games.
15. The Wizards are now 16-6 (16 W & 6 L) when Beal takes between 9 to 17 FGA in a single game (including 17 & 9) – making anywhere between 13 to 29 points.
He had 15 FGA & 36 points tonight.
The “funny” thing is that in all the other scenarios (Including when he too twice 7 or fewer FGA because he got injured), the Wizards are still now 6-17 (6W & 17 L) – making 8 points or fewer, or 20 points or more (he had two 20 points game, once 21 points, once 24 points, the rest that isn’t 8 or less, or are 25 points or more).

19. It’s the first time the wizards win this season when they are below 23.8% from 3PT, with a 1-6 record now.
20. The Wizards made only 6 3-pointers tonight – tying their 2nd worst of the season in a single game, for the 4th time (Overall, we had 5 games with 6 3PTM & 2 with 3PTM (won both 5 3PTM games, lol)).
21. The Wizards never lost their lead this game – leading throughout the whole game – with the lead growing as much as 25 points, after the last game where we were having exactly the opposite (not leading even once & being down as much as 25 points in the [93-112 L](https://www.nba.com/game/was-vs-phi-0022201016/game-charts) vs. the 76ers on March 12th, 2023).
22. The Pistons tied their season’s 2nd best offensive rebounds in a single game, with 19 offensive rebounds (vs. just 10 by the Wizards).
23. The Wizards were perfect from the line tonight 22/22 (100%), for the 2nd time this season, though last time it was 12/12 FT in the [109-115 L](https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/202302240WAS.html) to the Knicks on February 24th, 2023.
24. Almost both teams ended with 100% from the free-throw line – the Wizards were 22/2 from FT & the Pistons 11/12 from the FT – 91.7% ([Omoruyi missed this FT in the 3rd quarter](https://www.nba.com/stats/events/?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&GameEventID=424&GameID=0022201028&Season=2022-23&flag=1&title=MISS%20Omoruyi%20Free%20Throw%201%20of%201)), as they combined for 33/34 from the free-throw line – \~97.1%.
