Ngl I always wished he was the next up DPOY on our team over Brook. But I’d take both

Is this true? That’s amazing if so, and the first I’ve heard of it

Jason Kidd played 5 more seasons than Jrue. This is wild!

If Ben Simmons quits messing up his career this record should be his. Dude’s a 6’10” PG and in 5 seasons has half as many blocks as Jrue. Ben might not be in the NBA in 2 years way he going.

Sadly it’s not true. Dennis Johnson is the No.1 with 675 blocks. Jrue comes in second with 475.

According to Statmuse, John Wall is the all-time leader among PG’s with 439.

NBA All-Time Blocks leader for a Point Guard Jrue Holiday

I mean he is now tied for 22nd for blocks by a guard.

I think the confusion in the comments stems from two interpretations of “blocks by a PG”: first, looking at ESPN or bbref totals for PGs throughout their career, vs Statmuse’s interpretation of how many blocks each player had *as* a PG, i.e. that blocks accumulated while listed at another position don’t count.

If we’re measuring blocks accumulated while listed at PG, it’s John Wall with 439, and if it’s blocks accumulated from a player who was primarily listed at PG, it’s Dennis Johnson with 675. Either way, Jrue is not the all-time leader sadly
