Shai made the playoffs two years ago
Interesting video but this is not where anyone who has anyone to do with the Thunder has their head at right now. They are clearly making a push for the playoffs and trying to win as many games as they can for the rest of the season.
They have the pieces to trade up from 15 to like 5-7 if they do make the playoffs, so that is definitely what they are trying to do.
Giddey could easily slide to the 3 in a Scoot Henderson scenario, though I could honestly see them taking Brandon Miller at 2, shore up their defense on the wing, and continue with what seems to be an entire philosophy around drafting size

The schedule they have left is very easy. They are also on a 3 game winning streak. I do however believe that The thunder will have to trade up in the draft because they have 3 first round picks and can’t use all of them.

I think they pushing for the play ins.They may even jag getting a win & ending up with a 1st rounder in the finals.I think it's more important they get a taste of the post season.A taste leads to a thirst.For there growth it's very important.Then Chet comes on board & they got there big.They will improve drastically if that eventuates this season for next season.

Personally I don't think we need anything to be a future competitor. A starting five of Giddey, SGA, J Dub, Chet and J Will should be enough in say 5 years to win the whole thing. But I guess J Will could be upgraded even though he'd make a nice fifth option. I definitely see Chet as more of a 4 than a 5. It would be a complete waste of his shooting ability to have him posting up all the time. So a really good center could be exactly what we need. But also, we have the majority of our future roster in the can and still have 16 firsts and 19 seconds in the next six drafts. So wherever we land, Presti can still just trade up to get who he wants. We need one more star at the most. SGA is a max contract guy. Chet is projected to be. J Dub honestly looks like he could be too as could Giddey. That's basically all our salary. So this draft haul we have just needs to be flipped to climb up the draft boards. We don't need to turn all those picks into five stars we just need maybe one.
Which thunder players are not on the roster next year ? Everyone under contract except Saric. Presti has a lot of decisions to make.

We're playing g league players off our bench and starting three sometimes 4 rookies/sophomores and were still above teams with established vets, cmon man. He's most definitely a number one on a championship level team not just a playoff team.
Shai was in the playoffs his rookie year with the clippers in 2019 and in 2020 with cp3 I. The bubble first list to the warriors and then the rockets…..
