Guys, do we have 2 competent backup Centers now? Mudman playing well and Dedmon has looked really good so far in his couple games

  2. HoelEmbellyDancer

I feel like sometimes Embiid plays too much of a face up game and forgets how to play like a dominant big man but today he was unstoppable in the post and PnR

  3. jeromerules

Not exaggerating, Embiid is the Wilt of our generation.

  4. thedadfromsmartguy

Man, the chemistry between Joel and James is so great. Harden has been an absolute treat to watch this season, he reads the floor so well and is such a great decision maker. Just wanna be grateful for the present moment, this has been one of the best stretches of Sixers basketball since like 2001. An Embiid team has never played so confidently.

  5. ExpertOnNicheThings

While comeback wins are great, nice to relax for most of the 2nd half. See the players rest up, and hopefully get the W tomorrow

  6. TheGreenLandEffect

Dedmon looks like a solid pick up, to the surprise of absolutely everyone

  7. Wouldn’t mind Harden and Jo sitting out tomorrow for extra rest since we need them for the Nuggets, Celtics and Bucks matchups upcoming. Let Doc do his magic with the 2nd squad and let Maxey and co cook the Pacers terrible D

  8. Front_Explanation_79

    Smoked them by 39. Damn.

That’s like all of Embiid’s points in 29 minutes.

  9. dumb_commenter

I know why they took out Embiid, but Iā€™m still kinda sad they did

  10. necrosythe

Wait, why did Joel play so many minutes? I know they weren’t the highest stress or pace minutes towards the end but seems weird. Doc giving him the stats for the MVP?

  11. Must have played this one in a time warp, with the Spectrum crowd cheering a Sixer win.

  12. XxStormySoraxX

I actually think a trio of Paul Reed, Dewayne Dedmon and PJ Tucker can get it done at back up 5 in the playoffs.

  13. BodSmith54321

Good night for Niang and Harden to get that donut from 3 out of their system.

  14. NorthCoastToast

Joel with 38 points in 29 minutes on 76 percent shooting from the field and five blocks. His SCHNORP is the highest in history!!!

  15. secretlypooping

good to get out early and cruise to a win without any injuries. Need the same tomorrow against the pacers.

    MVP

  16. Its always nice to see our MVP get 10+ rebounds.

  17. Badtrip9817

62-35 edge on the boards- only seven offensive rebounds allowed and eight second-chance points (actually six plus two foul shots).

Rebound ANYTHING like this consistently and we will be NBA Champions. That means 57-45 or even 52-50. Just protect the defensive glass and limit second-chance points better on a consistent basis and we are the team to beat.

  18. Leading-Primary2313

Sixers schedule is legit absurd this month. 4 back-to-backs in the month of March and all 8 games on the road.

  19. LSAThrowawayAllDay

Did exactly what they wanted to (I would have considered even load managing Embiid for this one) by getting him on the bench in the 4th.

My god do the Hornets stink, what a rot in Jordan’s legacy.

  20. Otternomaly

Perfectly executed first game of a b2b. Also I am time traveler, everyone preemptively thank the blazers for going scorched earth on the Celtics

  21. PensiveinNJ

Taking off my Sixers jersey and putting on my Blazers jersey. Suddenly I’m a Dame stan for about 2 and a half hours.

  22. BassGuru82

Paul Reed with 8 points, 10 rebounds (6 offensive), and 3 Blocks in 12 minutes. Out da mud.

  23. burnerisnottaken

The real question is how does this game relate to MPJā€™s defense?

  24. sodmoraes

EmbiidĀ“s good but Jokic fat/48 advanced stats are off the charts!

  25. It’s hard to imagine that this isn’t peak Embiid and peak Process. I’m hoping for a healthy and competitive playoffs!

  26. JDubKilla

Goddamn – You could have taken Joelā€™s 38 points OUT of the box score and weā€™d still have won by 1

  27. gr33nalways

love how joel is playing but his landings after these insane blocks are scaring the shit out of me lol

  28. averagebensimmons

    38/13/5/4 in 29 minutes if F#ing awesome.

  29. davey_mann

Main thing I like about Harden this season is how much he just defers to Embiid. He doesn’t care about having an off offensive game and still contributes in all other areas.

  30. hi_yyellow

Lets go portland dame’s my MVP for the next several hours

  31. Specific-Economy-926

We are watching literal greatness in this city with Joel.

  32. Point differential moved from +4.4 to +4.9 on the season during this gameā€¦

  33. HappyGooner45

The Blazers are actually shambles lmao

  34. Blazers are actually such an annoying franchise man they trade Hart to improve their pick but still hold onto Lillard? Just so they can repeat the process again next year.

Like if you’re not gonna commit to anything you could at least fight for that 8th seed.

  35. ZarakiBankai

0/11 from 3 for Harden and Niang and win by 40ā€¦. Yeah that sounds about right
