[Jason Jackson] The camera operator Dillon Brooks pushed was injured & remains under evaluation

Jason Jackson, the Heat’s current radio Play by Play and longtime TV Host tweeted that “Our veteran @BallyHEAT camera operator was injured & remains under evaluation.

The fine was on point, but the max would have felt like a sliver of justice after disregard for another human – an incredible one at that.”

And brooks still didn’t get a suspension.

The fine money should be given to the cameraman. Brooks should get a suspension. That is showing total disregard for another human being. Not acceptable.

Legendary bag chasing performance right here and I DONT blame him!!!

  4. _checkpickerupper

They would’ve had to take me out on a stretcher.

Bro is not gon let that slide

  6. ProInstigator69

Do not blame him, get that bag you don’t deserve that bullshit from players

    Dillon Brooks.

I have gone through counseling, therapy, and rehabilitation.

I have learned a lot about who I am and who I want to be.

Take all the time you need. I love you and can’t wait to see you transcend.

I hope Brooks is someone else’s problem next season. The defense isn’t worth his inefficient offense plus the antics

“At least I dont hit my own teammates.”

I was entertained by his WWE villain stuff for a bit but that was a pretty lame move

Looks like the camera operator is calling bank before the shot goes in

I’m sure his attorney is observing him like a hawk.

  13. Memphis is really trying to speed run “upstart team everyone loves to most hated team in the NBA”, and they’re breaking world records

Can’t blame the guy. That was small dick energy from Brooks. Talking that “pedestrian” shit only to push a guy that was minding his own business and doing his job.

Grizzlies try to be likable for 5 seconds challenge (impossible) (instant fail)

I don’t understand how Brooks wasn’t suspended, it wasn’t even close to an accident. He straight up pushed a camera man over and walked away because he felt he could, don’t let him think that. You gotta show guys like him that you can’t act like a child on National Television, there should consequences. Especially when his teammate is in trouble for waving guns around and assaulting a teenager, it’s a really bad look for Memphis and the league

35k fine is not enough. He assaulted a cameraman. What other job can you assault someone in front of all your coworkers and just walk off like it’s all good, I’ll just pay an hour’s pay and that’s the end of it.

    #FUCK DILLON BROOKS

They should have suspended him for multiple games, and this is from a Grizz fan.

This team is so fucking unlikeable

As a fellow camera operator, the dude should, at a minimum, be in trouble for assault. The camera on that guy’s shoulder could be anywhere from like 20-30 pounds. It’s not fun to be pushed to the ground by a big dude. Now imagine you are trying to keep a 20-30 pound thing on your shoulder steady.

Bro fire that coach or management. Who Evers leading that team. Awful awful leadership

How are ALL of them such assholes? Most of them are my age or older, money just makes you more of what you already are so that’s not it. Like theirs no excuse for this behavior

Who ever is leading that team doesn’t know how to lead people.
