I don’t understand how Brooks wasn’t suspended, it wasn’t even close to an accident. He straight up pushed a camera man over and walked away because he felt he could, don’t let him think that. You gotta show guys like him that you can’t act like a child on National Television, there should consequences. 35k fine is not enough. He assaulted a cameraman. What other job can you assault someone in front of all your coworkers and just walk off like it’s all good, I’ll just pay an hour’s pay and that’s the end of it.

As a fellow camera operator, the dude should, at a minimum, be in trouble for assault. The camera on that guy’s shoulder could be anywhere from like 20-30 pounds. It’s not fun to be pushed to the ground by a big dude. Now imagine you are trying to keep a 20-30 pound thing on your shoulder steady.
