Oh how I wish I was there… thanks for showing Larry the respect
Larry Legend
Larry Legend is a badass! ๐๐๐
Larry probably shot all his life and practiced everyday for most of the day. Basketball is all he had. The youngblood nowadays have too many distractions, clubs, drugs, alcohol, women, etc. Larry lives and breathes basketball.
Ultimately, he's still a basketball player๐๐ฟ. Unfortunately, we all gotta grow old๐
WHERE'S THE FOOTAGE!!! ๐
sounds like a special moment
Straight up ๐ฅ
Love to see him shooting around at his age now… You play at his level in the highest level league in the world your always going to have some decents skills
I remember magic and bird came in as rookies and built a new basketball world order ..today there are no players like magic or bird.then came Jordan and the bulls.
Shoulda chanted YOU STILL GOT IT!!
Great video ๐๐
The Great Larry Legend is a marksman, that's undeniable.๐๐
Larry was a bad man๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐
Not even remotely surprised
Peace ten 10 players on the court bird is definitely one of them period, simple and plain, and he fought every team in the league ๐โ๏ธ
GOD BLESS YOU ALL IN JESUS NAME! AMEN!
The good NBA players KNOW what a fukin problem Larry was. Theyโll say โ Damm, heโs BIGGER than I thoughtโ. โHe doesnโt MISSโ. โHe told me the play to me and scored in my face.โ โHeโd tell Casey Jones, โjust give me the ball and everyone get out the fukin way.โ
Larry was HIMMMMM!
My pick for the best of all time ๐
Would be something if the NBA would invite him to partake in the next All Star three point comp.
Dang still at age 60 he was phenomenal at shooting the ball probably better than some now
If they only knew.
Thats the legend coming out
"Finally, someone let me outta my cage"
A quick story. I played at Boston U in the 80โs. We played a game at Boston Garden once. A day game. The Celtics gave us and our opponents ( Northeastern) tickets to the Celtics- Bullets game that followed ours. Me and my teammates sat behind the Celtics bench during warmups. Bird came out and took a rack of balls (about 15-20) and set up
around 5 feet beyond the NBA arc ( around 28 feet). He nonchalantly took the balls out of the rack , in his warmups while chatting with the trainer, and shot FLAT FOOTED from that distance and did not even touch the rim once. All dead swishes. To this day the most incredible shooting display Iโve ever seen. We all looked at eachother in utter disbelief.
He would annihilate the NBA if he played today with the spacing and lack of tough defense. Believe me.
When Larry Bird discovered Percosets and felt 22 again.
Talented
Miss is a ladies name ๐
Knowing Bird's psyche, he probably was in gym clothes practicing his shot for an hour in another gym, then put on his suit and walked in on the team for maximum effect.
Unfortunately in todayโs world, all of Larryโs trash talking would have gotten him canceled because heโd be hurting too many feelings ๐
The Guy was NICE , popping threes.
Remember that he spent years practicing shot after shot.
It paid off.
