Welp that went about as well as expected. 5/23 from 3 is impossible to overcome. Only 2 games next week, let’s fucking hope those are the last 2 without KAT and/or Ant.

Don’t give up fam, all of our competition sucks ass right now too. Just get the 10th seed and anything can happen.

  2. mr-doitall

The misery continues. Canā€™t wait to get Ant and KAT back

  3. King_Clitoris

Help us KAT, youā€™re our only hope.

  4. Ed_Hastings

No KAT, no Ant, this was always going to be what it is. No team in the NBA is going to overcome missing their two best players, including a max salary slot, and the only real offensive firepower in the starting lineup against any team that came prepared.

However, this would have hurt a whole lot less if we hadnā€™t just fumbled away two close games on stupid shit. We just donā€™t have that kind of wiggle room right now.

  5. We blew too many games this season. At this point, we just have to mentally prepare to win some clutch play-in games. The Knicks are probably going to body us. 3 games under .500 will be tough to climb out of.

This team needs to get a lot more poised over the next 10 games and hope they can put-together a great, mistake-free play in performance with a returned KAT and Ant.

  6. CandiedApples84

Iā€™d be happy to finish 40-42 and 9th with the upcoming schedule

  7. PlayInChampions

No expectations to win today, however, Prince and NAW were supposed to step up with Ant being out, and delivered scorching 9/33 from the field 3/17 from 3 in 2 games. The bench this season has been absolute trash unlike last year when they won us 5-6 games easily. Prince and Nowell are way worse than last year, Beasley who shot 47% from 3 after ASB last year is gone, Naz and McLaughlin are good but itā€™s not enough.

  8. unwinagainstable

Of course our first good day at the free throw line in forever comes when the game wasnā€™t close

  9. pollinium

Didn’t get to watch, but we knew this was likely a loss. Glad minott got so many minutes

  10. Kinda just have to hold out hope at this point, season might be over, just have to keep fighting.

  11. dosnetlive

It’s just hard to see where the shotmaking comes from without KAT or Ant

  12. Dakota150

Turn off the lights, the partyā€™s over!

  13. XAgentNovemberX

League is breathing a sigh of relief that we have all these injuries. They donā€™t even have to use the refs as their hatchet men to make sure we donā€™t make the play in. They will but they donā€™t have too.

  14. seventeenweewees

The worst part is I can’t even bitch about the refs this game šŸ˜”

  15. kpedersonbp

I’m personally so glad Tim Connelly not only mortgaged our future, but our bench from last year.

  16. Prince might find himself out of the lineup when the team is fully healthy

  17. cowboy2223

We needed a couple players to go above and beyond tonight instead we had them shrink in the moment . Disappointed more in the last two losses but really could uses someone just standing out and giving us that big game!!!

  18. Callyden

To quote the best show of all time ā€œBELIEVEā€

  19. Not winning without shot creation. Miss Ant and KAT so much

  20. FullBonus

Thank god all the other play in teams are losing. Itā€™s buying us time

  21. We should just face the reality that what TC did was create a team not built for the modern NBA. The modern NBA is pure offence where majority of the calls are meant to favor the offensive player. By doubling down on Gobert, TC just hampered the development of the team. Rosas (while being a shit person) had the better idea and vision.

  22. That was a tough watch with the wolves getting ass kicked along with the raptors announcers

  23. xFlames_

If you expected the Wolves to win tonight with their top 2 players down hop off the copium. Any team without their two best players will struggle to win a game, that’s what we’ve built our team around. Think if the Celtics didn’t have Tatum and Brown, Mavs if they didn’t have Luka and Kyrie, Lakers if they didn’t have AD and LeBron, hell that Raptors without Siakam and VanVleet. I could continue to name every top 2 player in the league.

We could’ve won that game, but I’m not mad that we lost, we were on the second night of a back-to-back fresh of a 2OT against Chicago. I get that this loss hurts our position in the West, but losing tonight only makes me more mad that we didn’t beat the Bulls, fuck that was our’s to lose and we blew it.

  24. Deep_Market5748

Felt good about how we played, but was just a game if they had the stars to hit the shots and we didnā€™t

  25. RoaringGorilla

The season is pretty much done at this point
