Markelle is really hitting another gear. People should wrap their head arround that he’s our starting pg of the future. Unless we get Scoot but Scoot is not even a good 3 points shooter (like Fultz) . So unless he devlop his 3 i dont see him become that much better than Fultz.
Was at the game, got super hype, had seats behind the magic bench. Shocking amount of magic fans there. Had people cheering on the magic on all sides of me. Left the arena dapping up magic fans left and right

I TOLD YALL MARKELLE IS A SUPERSTAR. Trust in Kelle. The guy will make an AS team next year or the year after. He is growing(or re-learning) every game and has looked absolutely dominant in every PG matchup. Maybe somebody may make more points than him but Kelle generally looks like the better field general, is the better defender (forcing the other teams guard to switch off), and isn’t no slouch on being a momentum shifter. Markelle is the guy. He is this franchise key piece.
I also have said it whole season but Franz could be the starting 2 guard, the guy is fit for it, this team doesnt need Gary. Fultz, Franz, Paolo, Dell, Mo would have been dominant. This coach and FO were tanking day 1 with the Bol instant SL move. Bol was a mistake, the guy is getting benched for KH in these crucial final games, its ridiculous to think that they were DNPing Mo and Ross for KH/Admiral/Bol. I also honestly prefer Caleb/Chuma to the latter 3.
This team lost all depth but are still finding wins because Fultz/Franz/Paolo and Dell is a legit core and a strong SL but its always the last piece that is loose/weak and Mo was the best fit and stats all support it. I am just mad cause I think this team would been in play-ins/playoffs right now if the FO/coach wasn’t so incompentent but nonetheless the future is bright.
I do understand that one more year of tanking isn’t terrible considering the fact the Magic could have 2 early picks and may be able to combine those picks with Gary and a Bol for a star/moving up to a top 2 pick and it may be worth it but this team could win right now. I have said it whole season but those early game losses weren’t just because of no Kelle, it was because the team was tanking since then. No stat supported Bol playing so much mins (especially as a starter) nothing should any positive impact, Moe was similarly bad from an impact metric but he had a rare offensive game and was a decent energy shifter and a hustler so he clearly was a good influence but Bol had nothing.
This team is way better than the record shows, and a new coach may be needed to show it. Since either this coach was tanking from day 1 or he is a bad assest manager and a bias coach that refuses to use stats to make real lineups. This team will win very soon. They have multiple young players who are way above schedule and may make a notable name for themselves very soon but some of these lineup moves are really questionable and should be investigated.
Huge shoutout to Cole, Kevon and the rest of the bench for bringing us back in the 4th q. I wish this sub would give Cole his flowers, hes been really good since the all star break and has brought us back into the game on multiple occasions now
That win without Suggs is a pretty huge achievement. Credit to Cole for carrying the second unit, and great defensive possessions from Goga and Kevon Harris.
If any Magic fans still don’t see Markelle as our future then I just don’t think they’ll ever get it

Not to sound like a hypocrite but this was a fun win. I don’t want to lose but I’m not mad if we do because in the long run we win. What these wins do accomplish however is how to close out games and keep the players hungry.
When will we admit we need a replacement for Gary Harris as a starter. Hes a solid guy, but he puts up bench numbers almost every game
