I was listening to the Ringer NBA Show podcast last night. It was an episode that released Friday. They were talking about their MVP predictions, and they couldn’t stop audibly giggling and gushing (not an exaggeration) over Jokic. It was disgusting. I swear they act like this man is Jesus Christ reincarnated. It’s so fucking weird. Some of these media members would have to see Embiid average 50 points and 10 blocks a game for him to be in the same class as Jokic. I don’t get it.

honestly Jokic feels like free money at this point lmao. The straw poll that came out 1 month ago had him winning in a LAND SLIDE (77 1st place votes to Embiid’s 6). The voters decided the race months ago, they’re too proud to flip flop & give it to Embiid now. The online discourse shifting to be pro-Embiid doesn’t mean anything imo

I’ll believe it when I see jt. Even if the Nuggets struggle all the way to the end, Giannis will sneak in. Or if Luka can put together a couple 40 point games, they’ll find a reason.
