James Wiseman Plays What Could Be His Best Game As A Detroit Piston In Loss To The Miami Heat

James Wiseman may have played his best game as a Detroit Piston in their loss to the Miami Heat, but the different ways in which they used Wiseman on the offensive end of the floor could be the direct reason for his strong second-half play. Also, Killian Hayes has played extremely well in the last five games, is his slump over? Is this the player we’ll see for the rest of the season?

  1. im a warriors fan but a big wiseman supporter.. happy for you pistons fans getting this kid.. future all nba center 💪🏽 also let him get his post ups.. you’re gonna wanna let him develop that since he has great touch.. play him like embiid

  2. but dwayne casey wants him to master the paint. either they see enough of the rest in practice and want him to get data on what to work on in the post.

  3. They need to play him at the 4. Play him with Duren. Like you said he has a nice mid range shot. Just need him to work on the outside shot more over the summer. Even if we get Wembanyama. Play Wembanyama at the 3. Have Stewart and Bagley on the second unit. With everyone healthy next year this team is going to be amazing.

  4. We don't need Scoot at #2. If we do get the 2nd, trade down to 3 and get Miller and an extra 1st rd pick. Killian is serviceable as a back up pg.

  5. I think finally we are find at the big man position, all the guys are young and will get better this includes Bagley if we don't get the #1 pick get Miller and cut the fat. Killian will get better with time.

  6. They should play and develop him like Jaren Jackson with more touches .. I feel that’s comfortable for him and it fits with the play of duren, cade and ivey

  7. 1. Wiseman is improving on both sides of the floor. His potential is very high if he keeps this up. 2. Killian Hayes is done bro…. He's beyond done…. 3. Why are you wearing a Locked On Packers hat………………………………….

  8. I wish Miami would have traded for Wiseman when GSW were obviously bent on cutting.their luxury tax expenses. That was such a horrendous trade for the Warriors considering all they got was GPII in return. I wish Wiseman the best. Seems like a nice kid with lots of potential. He's very long and springy.

  9. Ku, Killian ain’t a keeper. He has tunnel vision as a guard and can’t shoot with accuracy. Pistons need to keep Burk who is a vet and a much better guard. Find a way to trade him in a package with Bag

  10. Jaden Ivey was very selfish down the stretch. He literally wasted three possessions in the last 2 minutes, playing hero ball. I like Ivey, but damn.

  11. I think Wise needs to set a proper pick and mix it up with the quick roll. He seems to be sliding in before contact 90% of the time so the Picks he has set for Ivey does not really free up Ivey to do his thing If he get the bump the higher the chance of Wise getting lobs and split passes.

  12. The team played self-promoting basket-ball for the most part with respect to Wise. There were often times that he was in the best position to score but others would be going for points with difficult plays that would be trivial if they passed to Wiseman. As someone who has followed Wiseman progress at the Warriors where the coach knew he was a great scorer but wanted him to just do defense and screens it is painful see the piston squad pretend they are Curry-like tallents and misuse and abuse their opportunity with Wise to execute some really good team plays.

  13. wise will be able to dominate opposing bench bigs for us next szn, he’d get more of a scoring role off the bench than he would in the starting lineup behind cade, ivey, and a T5 pick. i think his defense can be acceptable-fine enough to keep him on the court in a playoff setting, let’s hope his offense continues to develop to the point where he can be our main scorer off the bench (excluding bojan)

  14. I keep telling you Killian is still recovering from that hip surgery and the Pistons know that, so just be patient. That's why they won't trade him. You and the fans don't know what you're talking about. I had shoulder surgery two years ago and sometimes it still gets sore and stiff. It takes time to fully recover from surgery. He will be even better this next season.
