If Joel Embiid doesn’t win MVP this year, there’s gonna be some major problems and NBA has to do some major changes to the MVP voting. Whoever is doing the voting is suspect. there is no way he’s gonna be robbed three years in a row and being the most dominant big man in NBA scoring 40 every night.
Jokic is just too good sorry
It is literally Jokic by a hair because he has missed fewer time, his team is much worse when he sits, and he is statistically more impactful. That said, if Embiid continues this tear for the final month, he will win it. Do not forget there was 0 discussion over this race at the all star break.
I think Jokic is an elite player, but winning 3 consecutive MVP titles without ever leading a team to a conference finals? That's some bull 💩. It cheapens the MVP and makes it a participation trophy for perennial front runners.

I think if you are going just by stats and year would be jokic but at this point Embiid deserve more his first mvp than jokic his third.
