Celtics All-Access | Celtics-Warriors in OT, Marcus Smart Mic'd Up, NBA All-Star Weekend | Episode 3

Breaking records and collecting big wins are just part of the story ☘️

After a frustrating defeat to Steph Curry and the Warriors in December, we responded with a big-time comeback win in OT during one of the NBA’s most exciting games of the campaign to level the season series in January. Big shots, big stops and memorable moments all in one game.

Marcus Smart’s career-long evolution as a playmaking point guard has been a major reason why we’ve been one of the association’s best teams in the league this season. We mic’d up Marcus in practice and he shared his thoughts on his ever-improving play and how his past learnings have helped shape his game today.

2023 NBA All-Star Weekend featured two of the greatest all-time efforts in the All-Star Game from Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, culminated with JT setting the all-time scoring record and rightfully earning MVP.

  1. They need to get a big-man that can Rebound for them and block shots and the team needs to play DEFENSE to many leads they had and lose at the end.

  2. I have always been and will always be a Celtics fan. The group of men we have leading the way continues to make me proud. Success is right around the corner and I am proud of all your hard work. This year is our year for sure. A great coaching change down to the ball people, I will support and bleed green forever.

  3. They need to change their current mentality because playoffs are creeping up! They’ve shown the worse side of them in the past 1-2 months…

  4. Why would a Class A organization such as the Celtics hire someone with absolutely no NBA head coaching experience? He had a 4 point lead with 2 time outs and under 90 seconds to go. For Terry Stotts and Nate McMillan, that’s a guaranteed 4 points in your pocket. Coach Mizzulla, called the exact end game play 5 times straight. I guess that play book he’s got in his hand only has one play in it. If you’re really paying close attention, the Celtics coaching staff is so bad that the opposing teams coaches are trying to help the Celtics win. He doesn’t even take credit for his bad coaching decisions, he blames the team. I’ve never seen this from any coach, ever! This coach does not understand the Xs and Os, he only understands love, steak and blame. Here’s some basics coach, with no Xs and Os needed. Your goal is always to put your best 5 players on the court at the same time, this usually is not your starters, and may change from game to game. In short, any team that is dumb enough to let you get away with playing Tatum at center, then that is what you do! You should always be trying to get this lineup on the court: White, Smart, Brogden, Brown, Tatum. Your starting lineup should be: Brogden, Howser, Brown,Tatum,Horford. Your first substitution should be Smart and R.Williams off the bench together and that’s your rotation. Anytime you have to play Pritchard, G.Williams, or face a zone defense, that should trigger a chess move lineup: Pritchard, Howitzer, G.Willliams,Tatum,Kornet. This same lineup without Tatum should immediately switch to a 4 corners offense, where a shot clock violation is better than 2 points until Tatum returns to the game. Anytime you have to play Pritchard, you are caught in a mismatch, anytime you have to play G.Williams as anything other than a “SF”, you are caught in a mis-match, try to avoid this. That should cover it…
Hire any one of those coaches that make the sweet 16 this year if you can’t hire Stotts or McMillan(he’s better than Doc Rivers).

  6. Good content. Wish there weren't an entire two months between episodes but glad that this came out. Hoping the team can correct itself before the playoffs begin!

  7. I just know that when the Playoffs start our players will be ready! It’s been a rollercoaster of a season but the mentality has always been focused on getting Banner 18! I’m confident the Celtics will let’s go! 💪🏽☘️

  8. It’s like a slap in the face watching this kind of content knowing how mediocre the Celtics have been since the all star break…

  9. Fans need to chill out, it seems when we aren’t fully heathy we don’t play well, once everyone’s back we will dominate. Y’all have no idea what it’s like to play with a bunch of ppl u aren’t used to playing with. Al horford, smart Williams tatum and brown is the normal starting lineup, everyone is used to playing with one another and they got chemistry. Once you put in griffin hauser at times, brogdon, they don’t really have great strategies on how to utilize each other to their best of their abilities cause it’s a new year with these guys in and u gotta give it time. Come playoff time hopefully we fully healthy and the chemistry is there.

  10. Hopefully we can turn it around. Since the all star break we have not been looking good. And these losses we been taking is terrible. I have faith in this team I think they will turn it around

  11. Jayson went and got his head above the rim to throw down a drive and two handed dunk over Lebron during the all star game and now can’t seem to jump high enough to even touch the rim. Wtf happened to his legs since then. Take one dribble and meet people up top at the rim with some power. Enough with this soft stuff
