Love me some Kurt Thomas both times he was a Knick.
Kurt “crazy eyes” Thomas. Fan favorite.
Knick HOF
Legendary performance, Kurt gave everything his body had left for that W.
What a swan song
For those who weren’t around then, this was a crucial win amidst an abyssal West Coast trip during our best season but tough stretch. After this win, it set the Knicks off to go for the second seed and second round. Knickstape forever
Knicks Legend Kurt Thomas !!!
Man I still remember that game – IIRC we were on a losing streak going into that game, were down double digits at one point, won, then finished the season strong. Had a feeling like this performance kept the season afloat.
I heard he was a high scorer in college
I still remember that game. His performance is burned into my memory. He straight up bodied Al Jefferson during this final game. His brick wall post defense against Big Al was such a joy to watch.
Found some Kurt highlights from this game on Youtube but not his full defensive highlights:

I remember watching that live
Kurt played with Ewing, Starbury and Melo..
Kurt Thomas is thee most Underrated Knick of all time
Josh Hart may be our new Kurt Thomas
RIP Krazy eyes.
I remember him pulling out insane old man tricks and breaking both his feet somehow even though I don’t think he actually jumped in the game. It was one of the greatest performances I have ever seen, but also very one of a kind.
Dude has a nice jump shot🔥
Like ive said before, Kurt Thomas died for that win streak. Ultimate Knick.
His mid range jumpers were very reliable.
I still haven’t seen a display of so much heart he left it all on the floor that night
That was the broken foot game,I remember it well
I remember that game
He brought an almost Oakley-like toughness with his game. So much so that Oakley had beef with him.
That elbow jumper every time – just the chefs kiss
I have zero idea why I feel this way, but this crazy motherfucker should have his jersey retired here.
I miss Crazy Eye Kurt. He played with grit and could peer into your soul.
Undersized for his position, Kurt epitomized the NY grit and grind culture. All-time Knick great.
Uncle Kurt’s last stand. Hard to believe it was 10 years ago.
