  1. If you want to give him more, you gon have to say byebye to Dlo or Beasley / Bamba

  2. Bipolar1324

Not even a question write that check right now and throw in 3 badd bitches for all he’s done for us.

  3. Sharon1911

The Caruso effect… we will watch him blossom from afar

He’s worth at least that contract on the offensive end alone, especially with the skill set he’s added. I’d pay 12.5 a year for a guy who can just hit threes as consistently as he can, let alone a guy who can also make his own shot now. Then you add in the fact that his defense is great and his playmaking is good, this is a no brainer.

  5. Js_On_My_Yeet

Give him whatever he wants. He’s earned it after 2 years of being this consistent.

#HE ALEX CARUSO WITH AN OFFENSIVE GAME… DONT NOT FUMBLE THE DELIVERY OF THE BAG

  7. Chocknut

I suggest watching the Front Office Show video discussing Austin’s free agency this off season.

In short, he’s protected by the Arenas provision so if another team offers him 80m/4 year, we can match.
But the best thing for our front office is to hope he stays loyal and go for a 2 year + 1 year player option deal. This will line up with LeBron and AD timeline with the Lakers.

  8. reddittho124

Yes he earns every penny, every game. You don’t let go off a guy like that that produces too. Guys like that get a roster spot even if they don’t play at all.

  9. agentslade146

Don’t be cheap FO. Many teams wants AR. Consistently playing his role is very rare at this team

  10. CoryGotLean

Don’t fuck this up, Rob. That’s all I’m gonna say

  11. Detroit, Portland or Orland is definitely gonna offer him between 80-90 million. Which he would be dumb not to take. We gotta throw in some endorsements. I wonder if he’d be willing to go 2/$35 and wait until Lebron leaves to get a much bigger deal?

  12. corybekem

Honestly if he signs for that I would personally be happy but he would also need to fire his agent. Duncan Robinson, Derrick White, and Norman Powell are gettin around 16 and rising. Hell, you guys are saying bench Beasley in favor of him and he’s getting 15.

  13. StOnEy333

Players currently making this much are Olynyk, Bagley III, Covington, Oubre, Finley-Smith, Josh Hart.

    I’d say he’s worth it.

  14. deepfakefuccboi

This is already a discount and the team better not try to lowball him. Dude is an undrafted sophomore and is playing like one of the best players in his class already.

  15. Low_Beyond8134

I don’t think he’ll ever be a all star but I think he can definitely win a 6 man of the year on a winning team

  16. BigBodyBrax

Well we were about to give Dennis a 4 year 80 million deal two years ago so this is def a bargain

  17. Resident_Frame

Malik Beasley is making $16M. His agent is about to run laps around Rob

  18. IceInMyMainVein

That’s a fair deal because we gotta remember the kid is undrafted and has developed like this because of the plan the Lakers had for him. Stay here and play with LeBron for less money and you’ll get paid again in a few years after you help the team win a title.

  19. Brock-Lesnar

52/38/85 shooting splits, capable of creating his own shot while being good on defense. I think he can make more than that honestly, he’s the perfect 6th man imo just based on his efficiency, decent volume and defense.

  20. Purple-Welder3639

Bro the guy chucking water at him was offered $20m/year before. Think reeves definitely deserves it

  21. DrinkWaterTodaypls

If Beasley is getting paid what he is, then Austin deserves this contract plus more

  22. thunderHAARP

Yes, he has not yet hit his ceiling at the NBA level, he will continue to improve at both ends of the floor for the next 3-4 years

  23. goatnxtinline

On account that we about to $15 Milly a year for streaky ass Beasley I’d say so. Can I just say how this guy got to where he’s at is commendable? No, really. He opted out of the draft with no guarantees even though he was projected as an early second round pick just so he could sign with his favorite team. then he came here and worked his ass off to get a rotation spot with the main team and now became a main character on a team with LeBron James and Anthony Davis after only two years. It’s actually wild

  24. He’s been the most consistent player (outside of Lebron) and he’s been clutch.

    Pay that man.

  25. got_ur_goat

Makes me wonder about the Caruso contract negotiations. Oh well. Good for AR

  26. Foodstamps4life

Don’t let the narrative being pushed all over about him expecting offers. If he was doing this on the hornets, no one would give one shit. That boys ours, and I doubt he makes a big to do over this. He dodged being drafted early in the second round to play for the lakers. It would be very un Austin reaves to drag anything like this out.

  27. pro_n00b

Bro, don’t underestimate the FO’s cheapness. AC signed less than 10 mil per yr for 4 yrs for the Bulls and reportedly was willing to take a 3 yrs contract for similar AAV

I swear if this FO doesn’t open up their fucking wallet and bring back AR we boycott!!!
