Kings trying so hard to eliminate the Lakers 😂

  2. Jazz next game is against the tanking Trailblazers too. Lakers are so fucked right now.

  3. PretendDubs

.500 gets you to the playin that should be the goal for the squad at the least. Don’t have to depend on other teams if you take care of business.

  4. SolubleAcrobat

Every win is inconsequential, every loss is back-breaking.

  5. I think for our mental health seek we should stop watching the standings, like I suggest it would be better if u stop gettin emotionally attached to the team these upcoming games cause the players (as talented our team currently is) they just give NO FLYIN FUCKS about winnin (except AR)

  6. levantoo

These next couple games are going to be tough too. OKC, Suns, and the Bulls been playing way better smh.

  7. Top-Consequence-911

LeBron and Reaves are the only winning players on this roster.

  8. We can not expect our this every weeks. We got lucky sl far already . If we arent good enough to win our « easy games » then we arent meant to do the playoffs. Simple

  9. Rentfreelakerfan

What is this non stop crying every single day. Standings will literally shift daily. If the team takes care of their business they will make the play in at minimum.

It’s looking less likely the Lakers make the play in. They simply cannot get over the hump to get to .500 while the teams were fighting for the playoff spots are winning against good teams. The Jazz just beat the Kings with 3 starters out and the Celtics this week. We lost to the Rockets and Mavs without Luka. The urgency just isn’t there.

If we’re so bad we don’t even make the 10th seed on our own, then I don’t expect us to win play-in games anyway. Might as well roll the dice for a higher seed.

  12. winter-r0se

i mean win our games & we wouldn’t be so pressed over other teams rightfully playing hard every game and taking care of business

we’ve caught some breaks with key opponents out & a sort of easy schedule catching teams on a second night of a b2b or facing tanking rockets. we couldn’t capitalize.. the next stretch of games tougher. hopefully we play up to the competition? and our star outplays everyone on the floor idk

  13. This is incredibly embarassing. The players should feel ashamed

  14. adocileengineer

This is what happens when you squander opportunities like we have over the last few weeks: we have to rely on teams like the Knicks and Kings to take care of business for us. We can’t truly call ourselves contenders if the team refuses to step up when they need to. We simply can’t lose to the Rockets, the Mavs without Luka, the Timberwolves, the Thunder, the Trailblazers, the Pelicans. We’ll be lucky to grab the 7th or 8th seed, and quite frankly it seems like there are 4 teams out there that want it more than we do.

Win all our remaining games vs OKC and UTAH, and I think well be all right…

How can teams that announced early in the season, that it would be “rebuilding year” (tanking) now have better records with way less talent. I know the Lakers have been bitten by the injury bug, but every team in the West seems to have had injury problems. I think the Jeanie/Rob experiment hiring a rookie coach needs to be reevaluated. The futures Lakers look exciting, on paper, but “hands in pocket” will mess them up

Also don’t have the tiebreaker vs Utah.

  18. BaullahBaullah87

I mean at this point we have to win games. All these teams near us are winning games they shouldnt. So we gotta win games we should and some we shouldn’t. Wednesday is prob an L tho lol

  19. SpartyParty15

STOP LOOKING AT THE FUCKING STANDINGS EVERY DAY. THE LAKERS JUST NEED TO WIN GAMES

  20. OneirionKnight

Still got two games against the Jazz, the Lakers must bury them

  21. brotherlymoses

Without Lebron its ggs. AD is too inconsistent

  22. Carsten__Stahl

Ochai Agbaji, 6.1PPG Rookie for the Jazz with a career high 27 PTS to beat the Kings

    FFS

  23. mrbrownstone

Resting AD against the Rockets was idiotic. AD’s last 10 seconds against the Mavs was idiotic. They really can’t expect to make the play-in with this level of stupidity.

  24. Only one player is playing with a sense of urgency. Hope this changes on wed.

  25. Leading-Amphibian749

Just gonna take that 10 seed , gonna rest up AD against Houston to help get him fitter for the more difficult games, just gonna lose the game AAAAND ITS GONE
    ITS GONE

  26. less-ismore

I hate the jazz and thunder with everything in me

  27. FairyEnchantedDildo

That Rockets loss might be the difference between being in the 7/8th spot for the play-in and being out of the playin given that both Wolves and Jazz own the tiebreaker against the Lakers.

Next games vs OKC will be big because the season series is tied 1-1.

  28. _its_a_SWEATER_

You know what? Give yourself a break and don’t follow the standings every single day. It’ll make you lose your mind. Unless that’s your goal. Might as well cave your own head in if that’s your angle. Have a Coke and a smile.

  29. Yomminator

Sitting AD against the rockets was mind numbingly stupid. Even with more rest he played like hot ass the next 2 games

  30. If this sub isn’t the most bipolar sub on Reddit, it’s definitely in the top 10.

  31. WildWing_93

I can’t wait to see how this ages when the Lakers grab a win over the suns on Wednesday. This sub is painful sometimes.
