    GAME NOTES:

What a game! We got off to a blazing hot start on both ends, lading by 21 after the first quarter. There was a point where the Kings didn’t score a FG for over 6 straight minutes! This is the 6th best offensive team, and we held our own defensively that first quarter.

However, in the third quarter we swapped to a man coverage from a 2-3 zone, and the Kings were too quick for that. We weren’t able to rotate fast enough off their drives, and it allowed for Keegan Murray to score 17 of his 22 points in that 3rd quarter. A lot of 3’s were hit, and it quickly erased that 25 point lead. The fourth quarter we went back to a 2-3 zone, and we started holding our own again.

    Now for the players

No Lauri, no problem! Agbaji stepped up big scoring 27 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing 3 assists. He shot 8-14, and 6-10 from 3. He looked killer tonight! Loved his development this season, this game gave me a lot of confidence in his game. He also played the most minutes on the Jazz tonight. He had some clutch plays down the stretch, had a big DReb with 25 sec left, and just played so great. So much energy from Agbaji! A new career high in front of his mom tonight :’)

I also have to give a big shoutout to Udoka Azubuike. He came in as backup C instead of Jones and crushed it. 13 points, 6-6 shooting, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block in 18 minutes. He didn’t look gassed out there after a few runs up and down the court like usual, and looked so much more confident. He even scored 7 straight in the fourth for us! He definitely played his best game of his career tonight, and scored a career high.

Klynyk so close to a trip dub. 19 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists. He works so well as a handler in the pick and roll with Agbaji as the roll man, or Kessler as the roll man. He hit a big 3 tonight with 90 seconds left to go up by 3.

Kessler had an amazing game. He really limited Sabonis tonight and made it so hard for him to get looks. Sabonis only had 1 FGM in the first half, and was outplayed by our Rookie. Kessler had 10 points, 8 rebounds, 5 blocks tonight. Unreal showing shutting down the all-star.

Fontecchio got the start in Lauri’s absence tonight, and played decently. 4-10 from 3, 4-13 from the field for 12 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists. He didn’t do anything too special, but I’m glad his 3pt shot is looking good.

THT played just meh tonight. 4 assists and 4 turnovers for THT, as he sat in the fourth due to foul trouble. He finished with 10 points, 3-9 shooting, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and those 4 turnovers + 5 fouls.

Kris Dunn 18 points 10 assists off the bench! He closed over THT and was doing everything great. 2-2 from 3, 7-12 from the field, the only knock was he also had 5 fouls, but he played great.

Rudy Gay turned the clock back and had a big dunk, and actually was playing pretty good. He missed all 5 3pt attempts, but was 4-6 from inside the arc with 3-3 from the line. Masked Rudy Gay is actually the vet we need lol

JTA had some minutes in the 4th, and scored both of his buckets in the 4th. Again, didn’t do too much besides that, but had some buckets to keep us in it.

Big ups for the whole team 33 assists to just 12 turnovers is a breathe of fresh air. Our offense and defense was unreal that first quarter, and we bounced back nicely in the fourth when we needed it. We had 8 guys score 10+, everybody but Juzang and JTA. We shot lights out, 52/44/87, and our young guys, Agbaji, Kessler, and Udoka stepped up to knock out another top team. 17-5 run to close the game, big credit’s to everybody.

That zone was great, we disrupted the Kings flow when we were in it, but we needed to work on our man defense. It was atrocious, and we were slow rotating which led to so many open 3’s. Big ups to our team for the resilience we showed not losing our heads and locking in.

WTF is going on, I genuinely have no clue what we are doing lmao. I’m just here for the ride. I LOVE IT

    35-36 bitches!!! I LOVE U AGBAJI

How TF does Sacramento lose this game? WHAT ELSE CAN THE JAZZ DO TO TANK?! We sat Lauri, JC and Sexton.

Kings lost to Blocker Kessler and Ochai Agbaji.

  3. NotBusinessCasualYT

So uh… how’s the tank going Danny?

  4. I’m starting to think Hardy might be one of the greatest coaches of all time cause the shit he is pulling out of what is essentially a G League team with 5 real NBA players is wild. Absolutely wild.

  5. ngmatt21

First Lauri, then Kessler, now Ochai

    Are we a superteam?

  6. 5outof7_yes

    #KESSLER 🔥

    – 10PT (67% FG), 8REB, 2AST, 5BLK, 3PF (***not fouled out***)

  7. OrangeScarface

Put Kings v Jazz in the first round of the playoffs in my veins please. Both these games have been so exciting to watch.

  8. buttholeshitass

The folks who’ve been calculating how many games we need to lose to get better lottery odds are in absolute shambles

  9. Watching this team move the ball and be efficient in the clutch all year long has been a breath of fresh air after years of 45’s inefficient and turnover riddled “me time”.

  10. FERFreak731

I’m a playoff fan again, for the one thousandth time this season. FINNISHER, Blocker, and Agbaj3 is a playoff team next season

  11. 16patterjo

The two rooks were out of their minds tonight. Walker completely erased any trace of Sabonis and Ochai was just stellar in nearly every facet of the game. Future looking good!

  12. Con_Man_69

This team never dies and I fucking love it, 3 starters down yet we still won, and for the second straight game we beat a top 3 conference team.

  13. God I hate and love this FUCK… I don’t know how to feel lol sorry if I’m a downer I’m excited but sad

  14. rc_cola34

Year 1 rebuild and we arguably have a set core.

Kessler lauri and ochai are well above the curve of our rebuild.

I’m officially anti tank becuase of the progress those 3 specifically have shown. We haven’t even talked about Sexton or THT.

    Thank you trader danny

  15. GilgameDistance

Jazz show like this with the three that are out back in the game (or just Collin and Lauri) and I don’t think we need a high pick. Get a couple serviceable 6-7-8-9th through draft or FA and this team goes on a deep run in a couple years.

  16. TheHunnyBuzz

Lol we suck at tanking but that was fun

  17. Y’all, the Jazz are doing this while giving up a fuckton of turnovers.

  18. coolguysteve21

Hell of a game tonight! Loved it. Forget the tank. Let’s go all in. We are only one game out of the 6th seed. That is nuts!!!

So, were the refs actually watching the game? Calls go both ways, but I really mean that jumbled mess with the Rudy Gay free throws. They had a hard time determining if it was an “and-1” or not. Were they even paying attention? They delayed for a couple minutes because they…forgot? if he made the shot?

I’d like to say Doke’s game was a fluke, but hey. Maybe he’ll take minutes away from Jones and turn out better. it’s kind of nice to see players in foul trouble not named Kelly Olynyk. Though it did suck having both point guards with five fouls, it looks like he’s got his issues settled a bit. I like the fact he looks to pass like 80% of the time, so they left him open for a three, forgetting he’s like 40% from deep.

  20. somedudeinlosangeles

That was súper fun times. I knew the Kings would bounce back and fight. I’m glad they did. They tested our young boys.

  21. Caspar_Friedrich02

Why are the Jazz still winning games!?

  22. Stang-er

When are JC, Markennan, and Sexton scheduled to return?

  23. Jazz going to be .500 Wednesday when the poverty Blazers roll into town.

  24. apples_r_4_weak

Bench KO, tht and ochai next time so we can see Dok, johnny J and brantley dominate

  25. lopodo777

So let me get this straight (I fell asleep just before the game because it was at 3am). We didnt have Markkanen and we still beat the kings, not only that, we had like a 25 point lead at one point?

  26. Maybe now all you tankers will finally shut up! Let’s go get that 6th seed!
