  1. If you received the miracle of the 1st round pick you gotta keep it and get Wembanyama. You just gotta hope this man can stay healthy

  2. My answer to the Wemby question solidified after the Windhorst/Givony article came out a few weeks ago. He talks like he wants to be the kind of leader and loyal superstar that Dame is. Just wants to come and hoop and dedicate his life to being the best possible franchise cornerstone he can be. On top of being a perfect fit with our current team and having all the upside in the world, he seems like the exact kind of superstar that I’d want to be a fan of

  3. Jarace Walker would be a good backup choice if he is available as he could be a possible starting center.

  4. We've been burned with big men take the sure thing to put with Dame or you will never win. Don't you people learn anything?

  5. I’m nervous the blazers coach and management can’t develop young talent anyways!! Sharpe should start ASAP

  6. Dame’s playoff woes can be placed at the feet of Neil Olshay and Terry Stotts. Horrible GM and a terrible coach.

  7. Keep Dame Shaedon and Draft Wemb, figure it out from their. Dont bank the future on Dames timeline. Regardless of what happens you have chances to have next generation of talents

  8. Honestly blazers need to trade Dame, Nurk, maybe simons for some picks just rebuild is better fire billups and bring in a good coach

  9. Not sure if there’s a single problem the Blazers have that drafting Wemby wouldn’t solve. But knowing the blazers luck we’d trade the first pick, or Wemby would end up getting hurt and being the biggest bust since Oden 😭

  10. If they draft a kid and keep him (any kid), that's the final dagger to the legacy of Damian's career.

  11. If the (pin-pong) balls drop (sorry I couldn’t resist) In Portland's favor. I would take Victor Wembanyama in a hart beat. He's a generational talent. Generational talents are usually ready to go from day one. Drafting Wembanyama would be a continuation of the Dame era not the ending of it.

If Scoot Henderson is the lock to be the number two pick. I would trade the pick. Henderson may become an outstanding NBA player, but The Trail Blazers don't need another "small" Gaurd.

Picks 3-14? Usually, Top 10 picks even if they never become stars let alone starters are able to contribute right away. However, I don't think there are a lot of options in this years' draft who fill any holes. I would see who I can get with 3-14 before drafting.

I think the world of Anfernee Simons. I think he's a future superstar. However, paring Damian Lillard with another "small" Gaurd rather it's ANT or CJ. Isn't working. I also think he would bring back the greatest return in terms of his contract and talent.
I also think the world of Shaedon Sharpe I also think he's a future superstar. He's also the big gaurd who I would like to see Portland pair with Dame. The catch is that I think he's a year away.

The ideal offseason is getting the number one pick. Draft Victor Wembanyama and make some adjustments to the roster, and not have to make any desperate moves.

If Portland doesn’t get the number one pick. My opening offer is 2-14 and/or The New York Nicks Pick, Anfernee Simons & Matisse Thybulle (Sign & Trade).
