    RIP to the captain.

Kinda felt that things weren’t good with him missing the 50th anniversary but fuck.

Part of why I always say appreciate Clyde every night he’s out there, teams win championships but time is undefeated.

RIP. For all the big stars and big games in Knicks history, he is one of the true greats who brought real pride to this franchise – real winning pride that transcends bright lights and stardom.

Coming out of the tunnel with his knees taped up, heading right for the Pearly Gates, triple double incoming!

“When Willis Reed stood so tall, playin’ D w/ desire yes basketball”

  14. Some years ago, at a reception before a Knicks game at MSG, I got to sit down and have a beer with The Captain, Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, and Dean “The Dream” Meminger. Willis was a real nice guy, happy to talk about the days I remembered as a kid – the same days he became a legend.

    RIP Willis.

“I think we see Willis coming out…”

He just marched off to the great game 7 in the sky. No limp this time. Salute to the Captain. The only Knicks MVP or Finals MVP to ever walk this earth. A legend among legends and a hero to all of us mortals.
