The Timberwolves Are Hiding a Star…

Jaden McDaniels has been a bright spot for the Minnesota Timberwolves, helping them adjust to the Rudy Gobert trade and figure out a new plan after the Karl Anthony-Towns injury.

His defense has been one of the most promising aspects of his game, but McDaniels’ offensive progression has made major strides as well. Jaden McDaniels defense, paired with the newfound offensive freedom, is shaping up to be a perfect pairing next to Anthony Edwards both now and whenever KAT comes back.

  1. I can see him becoming like Jerami Grant, a borderline all-star who is also a great 2-way player.

  2. I can’t believe dudes can go from role player potential to 6th man starter/all star I mean Kobe dropped 8ppg first season Jokic was running like a fat man…oh wait he’s still fat

  3. When Minne drafted him I said this draft class was insane for them. I predicted that he would be a KD-esque type of player. Not being his volume but his scoring ability. a 6'9-7'0 off-dribble scorer but with a defensive mind on top of it

  4. Unironically moving kat wouldn't be a bad option imo the teams looking better without him he's realistically not a 4 and he's the worst of all the big name bigs tbh

  5. I'm not a Wolves fan, but I tell people about this guy all the time; now, the casuals will know more about him. He's low-key, one of my favorite players

  6. Players like Jalen McDaniels, Jared Vanderbilt, PG, and Kawhi are my favorite prototypes. 6’7-6’9, can guard 1-5, play 1-5, score off the dribble, and basically do everything any team could need then to do.

  7. Once he develops more strength he will blossom into a more consistent potentially 18ppg scorer. I could see hom averagong 21 on a different team, but with kat and ant 18 is very good for a third option.

  8. He definitely needs to be on an all defensive team, he is practically a one man defense at times for the wolves and he’s so good at getting steals and blocking shots and then getting his team points in transition off those turnovers

  9. Hot take but I feel like Jaden McDaniels has a higher celling than Paolo Banchero

  10. I’m not saying he’s a Leonard two way hof but he has the potential to be the best defender on a championship team while being the 2nd option

  11. I see him as a Grant from Portland
    A better Harris from 6ers
    A better RJ from Knicks

  12. Yes he is but for some stupid reason, Finch does not design plays for him and he doesn't design place for anyone, yes he should be averaging 20 points per game for sure right now Anthony Edwards said that we don't even know the half of how talented he is, it's ridiculous he's not getting more touches, Finch needs to make sure he gets fifteen to twenty shots per game at least

  13. thanks for shedding light on underrated/under-appreciated players

  14. Can we get a video on Austin Reaves? The man is legit keeping the Lakers season alive and deserves some respect outside of us Lakers fans who get to enjoy him every game.

  15. Already one of my most favorite Timberwolves players, I hope he can expand his offensive game how Mikal Bridges has.

  16. It may seem like a stretch now but he could easily be in a similar path like kawhi was big key player on defense but then he grows into an offensive threat
