Great piece about where Denver’s been struggling defensively and the things they can do to fix it.

Great article. Really curious if AG at the 5 will be more common come playoffs.

Hopefully this bad stretch is just that and nothing more. Our end to the season is quite difficult, which sucks since we won’t really have tons of rest entering the post season. Murrays knee being the biggest concern with that.

Yes we absolutely should be concerned. This team has shown enough this year that it’s a finals appearance or bust season. But while this kind of stretch happens to everyone over the course of a season, it’s highlighted exactly why it’s hard to take this team seriously as a title contender. When is the last time a team made the finals with even a passable defensive big? Jokic has made strides with his defense throughout his career but he’s still a postseason liability on that end. You simply can’t consistently win 7 game series with one playable pick and role coverage. Teams will game plan it apart and destroy you and we’ve already seen that happen in the last two series losses. Unless Jokic has another couple of gears defensively that he’s hiding than this stretch is incredibly worrisome

Good stuff. I’d also recommend this [Thinking Basketball video](https://youtu.be/XqwTkgj5ORY) focusing on playoff defense and specifically Jokic defending the pick and roll. Basically about peel switching to help the help defender

Oh man I hope Michael Malone has some tricks up his sleeve for the playoffs. Really feels like coaching is gonna play a big role in preventing a faceplant in the playoffs.
