Give me two answers. Which hometown kid would you wanna see as a piston? And which is the most likely?

  1. Booker- absolutely would take but not likely happening unless he’s old. Suns will compete for more years to come.

    McGee- No

Draymond- if he’s insanely cheap, can see it in a couple years happening if he doesn’t join Lebron/retire.

    Hardy- yes

Kuzma- yes but not excited at paying him a max

Forbes- he ain’t touching an nba court again

    Tillman- no

And no idea who the last guy is.

Probably the guy that’s going to be a perennial all nba guy for the near future. This is a no brainer

Booker and Hardy. I was really hoping we’d take a flyer on Hardy on the draft, kid can get buckets. The others I’m good on, and want zero part of the baggage that comes with Draymond Green.

I want Booker, think Green later in his career is a possibility

  5. frizzledfryfro

Think that we could get green easy after this year and booker would be the dream

Kuzma if he wants to try on Defense and become a poor forward.

Otherwise man (lol) I’d rather have Draymond, people underestimate how much of a leader he can be to this organization, and how many young guys we have. With Draymond, Cade and Ivey could be real solid defenders, and Duren could raise his IQ to become a defensive anchor.

Doubt Booker would come here, because we already have Ivey and Cade. So it’s gonna be a while before Book would come home.

As an Iowa State and Pistons fan, we’d be lucky to have Monte as a backup pg.

For winning, obviously DBook. No brainer. But fuck I’d love to see X in a Pistons uniform.

  9. If you’re gonna put Forbes you have to put Miles Bridges too

Obviously would want Booker the most. I love the backcourt we have (Cade/Ivey) but if Booker were a free agent/available and wanted to come, I’d do that in a heartbeat.

Most likely I think is either Draymond or Kuzma. Both are near free agency, and we have cap space.

Draymond is either taking a pay cut to stay or leaving. If he does leave, we have money and he could become our Igoudala- the smart vet who comes in and provides a boost, then fades to the bench as he ages and the core comes into their primes.

Kuzma wants to get paid. He plays on the wing, which is where we need another body, and he’ll be 28 next season, so should be productive for at least a few more years. Mixed info on how much he likes it in Washington and while we aren’t as good right now, our young core has a higher ceiling than this version of the Wizards where management seem to be pretty happy in 10th.

We’d have to overpay for either of them. I wouldn’t advocate for either Kuz or Draymond, but I’d probably talk myself into either if we made the move.
