[BrooklynNetcast] The regression of 3 point shooting since trades has killed this team: Cam Johnson: 46%➡️34% Spencer Dinwiddie: 41%➡️29% Dorian Finney-Smith: 35%➡️27% Most of the misses are relatively open too, hopefully these guys get out of their slumps.

Sorry for the formatting. I swear it didn’t look that bad when I typed it out. Here’s the stats in a better format:

    Cam Johnson: 46%➡️34%

    Spencer Dinwiddie: 41%➡️29%

    Dorian Finney-Smith: 35%➡️27%

Obviously there would be a drop off from KD and Kyrie but Markieff was shooting better than these guys and TJ was shooting a similar percentage to CJ.

Need a true PG who knows what spots, our shooters prefer. Even if a shooter gets an open shot, it may not be in their spot or the pass may not be good, so they have to readjust or chuck it straight up.

Sure glad the solution by JV is to tell these guys to shoot MORE threes. would it kill any of them to drive to t he hoop and maybe get more FT.

These players all benefitted from gravity of star players so it kinda makes sense they’d regress a bit due to our lack of a true star

All of you are seeing the problem right in front of you and coping with other reasons lol. No one can make a three. Legitimately what this post is about. It’s not about the offense, or the point guard, or the coaching. These guys all have to play a bigger role regardless to succeed so don’t hit me with the “they don’t have star player gravity around them anymore” arguments. They just have to hit their shots

It’s the scheme, blame the coach for the 3point shot heavy offense. It’s not working try something else JV.
